He took a lower purse to secure the rematch, Spinks got 1.2m and Judah only got 100k if I remember correctly. The fight was in Spink’s home city of St Louis too.

The gamble paid off though as beating Spinks is essentially what secured Judah big paydays vs Mayweather, Cotto etc.

Dang! Time flies bye... I remember when Judah was what "Tank" is today.

      Then Kostya happened.

Judah had a lot of talent, athletic gifts, insane hand speed, power, etc.

Problem is he lacks skills and IQ. That’s his main problem.

Cory Spinks was considered the boogeyman of the division. Floyd wanted to fight him, but the media criticized it as as Floyd not wanting to fight champions in his own class first. So he fought Baldomir, and NSB criticized that, so he was damned either way.

Near the end sequence Zab landed a brutal hook that made Spinks lean back like he was Fat Joe. Never seen anything like it and to Spinks' credit he was tough to catch. But Zab got it done.

As we get close to Crawford/Porter, there are obvious similarities with styles for Crawford and Cory Spinks plus the perception of being the boogeyman.

Will Shawn Porter be the Zab Judah to Crawford's Spinks...?

          - -Sissyboy Floydy fought Baldy because he whooped the panties off Judah.

The only reason Judah fought Baldy is 1. He was a walk in the park. 2. Floydy had ducked the unified Judah.

Floydy ducked every fight that could've been great, it's in his sissy DNA..

The problem becomes when people ask WHY? I mean Jab can be a real spaz! But he isn't really Broner bad... Yeah, he had his moments... the infamous crap game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyKT...channel=djvlad But Zab had support and is not ******. Notice in the video how he corrects DVlad lol... Yet he would just sort of lose focus in the ring. He was hanging with Mayweather for a while, and at his best was a superb talent.

Professional prizefighting being what it is, a blue print went out that basically said: "If you can hang in there against Judah, somewhere in the middle rounds, or so, he starts to break." Now various theories have come up as to why this happened with Judah:

            1) Conditioning
            2) The KostaZoo fight
            3) Some learning disability

I don't see it being any of these things really. He was always well conditioned. Much was made of the KO in the Zoo fight but it was quick, not a beatdown. Judah always appeared self possessed and intelligent. Many of us with learning disabilities overcompensate... and when I see how Judah conducts himself, I see someone who has confidence and intelligence.

I can't really think of a reason for Judah's self destruct timer activating in fights... But imagine if you could take zab Judah the first 3 rounds, at his best, and multiply it times 4 for a 12 round fight!
