Well the truth is, Manny and Canelo get more respect than Floyd because neither claimed to be the best ever, while cherrypicking a Japanese kickboxer.

            Let that sink in.

His biggest win is a controversial decision against a 36 year old golovkin.

His first ever title came at a catchweight of 150 against matthew hatton for a 154 title.

Then his first ever middleweight title came at a catchweight of 157 against cotto.

Just some facts for you when it comes to the truth of canelo career. Good fighter. No spectacular wins unless we counting the cherries like chavez, kirkland, khan, ylidrim, fielding, hatton.

Whenever he fights somebody prime he looks human. Lara, trout, plant, jacobs

            5. Floydy stipulated a 152 restriction as the only way he would make the fight. Canelo was blue on the scales as his promoter vacated the premises to check into a celebrity rehab clinic incommunicado with the outside world he didn't want to talk to.

Floyd on resume hasn't beaten anyone near as good as pac. Floyd beat a lot of not very good fighters, and also dlh. But dlh not exactly top ten atg like Pac is he?
Nelo beaten fighters who'd beat floyd, so are you playing word games or something?

Mayweather landed double on every category except jabbing, which he quadrupled. I don’t care too much about jabs though. I score power punches. Mayweather landed the better punches in more rounds.

Since about 2009, Mayweather fans have always said Mayweather would beat Pacquiao in a 12 round boring decision. 2015 was no different, that’s exactly what happened.

In fact I predicted that Maidana, not Pacquiao, would be the tougher match for Floyd. Maidana could have gotten a Draw or a Win vs Mayweather in the first fight and it would not have been the “wrong” decision. Neither fighter getting the W was wrong. In fact it should have just been a Draw imo. Maidana fought Mayweather as well as I thought he would. It just a stylistic issue for Mayweather. Which is weird because Devon Alexander of all fighters had an easy time with Maidana.

Following that fight was the Pacquiao fight which I thought was pretty clean and very easy to score. I mean, you had a guy outlanding another guy in more rounds, landing the better punches in more rounds. It really was not a sloppy/ugly/difficult fight to score.
There are many ways to look at a fight. Scoring a fight we might have a situation where one fighter lands more punches... I respect that. I think your point about accuracy and what landed is debatable. But even if not, What I am talking about is when a fight shows one guy is superior to the other, or, conversely that both guys try for broke... and the fight is razor close... Like Ali Frazier, where both guys tried to win in a manner lacking in the Floyd, Pac fight.

In the Pac fight no one took risks, no one showed a real edge, or much of anything. It was a safe fight, where both guys had their moments... Compare that to When Toney fought Jones... who could debate who was better and showed mastery in that fight?

what? DLH, Barrera, Morales, Thurman are all good fighters, but they are not as good as Floyd. They have never beaten a fighter as good as floyd. Also interesting you put DLH, because Floyd actually beat him lol.

Floyd on resume hasn't beaten anyone as good as Pac? He beat Pac. lol.

Who are these fighters that Canelo beat that would beat Floyd?
