Benavidez doing exactly what Plant did, and both Plant and Benavidez never once mentioned it in the past 3 years.

it’s obvious that Haymon is advising the Benavidez family to say these things while Benavidez has a press conference and exposure leading to his fight. They’ve also been informed of the PPV success Plant did, so the Benavidez family will play the part as Haymon advised. The thing is that it’s tacky raunchy at this point that industry will start to wonder why all of sudden those who want a Canelo fight will just cite PEDS. Exactly how does that work? Give the guy a $10mil check for this? Lol

at least Canelo talks about it, defended himself… unlike other boxers are advised to not talk about it all and shut down reporters…#FURY

I never understood why some boxers with thin resumes and no name, no fame, don’t worry about themselves. Why is Benavidez not focusing on just fighting top 10 fighters, then call out the PPV king of this era? Earn your shot. He wants the Canelo fight with no good wins.

And yeah, Wildirim and Fielding are worse than Benavidez. I get it. But everyone has similar fighters on their resumes. Due to Canelo fighting elite fighters in the last 10 years, he could afford to fight a couple of names.

Benavidez is 24 and has not shown anything worth a watch.

Saul is going to do 1 of 2 things. Either get angry and fight Benavidez cause "he's talking ****" or pout and not fight Benavidez cause hes talking ****.

Benavidez is ranked #1 by the WBC, so technically he has already earned his shot and Canelo will have to see him eventually or else drop the WBC belt.
