He's not wrong, but comparing Uzcategui to Canelo is not very responsible. Canelo popped for traces of a banned substance, then provided hair follicles which showed no history prior to the failed test. Uzcategui got popped for a much more dangerous substance and his intent to cheat was obvious. He Should get the baby Miller treatment and get suspension 2 years.

Ive been saying the same ****, canelo getting all this praise for greatness yet he was a legit PED user, you dont failed back to back to back tests like that, also he looked like a tank compared to his early 20s when your test levels are highest.
this is not speculation like how they do with manny pacquiao, this is facts, Canelo used Peds and got caught dirty and they gave him a soft penalty because he is a cash cow. Then gave him two gifts against GGG lol.

You could argue ******* is a PED and that’s what Benavidez tested positive for. It’s only in the system for 3 days and it ain't nothing to play with either.”Let’s see if Canelo claps back and calls Benavidez a Cokehead. Tainted beef vs La Puta la blanca lol. That’s how you sell a PPV.Boxing Beast likes this.

I'm going against perhaps popular opinion here, and say that Canelo probably didn't cheat, intentionally, and that's it's not an enhancement in the amounts found.
However, it is true that a boxer that isn't as big a star as Canelo would've been punished more severely. He hasn't tested positive since then, although apparently the tests that boxing commissions do are rather basic.
I wouldn't think that someone of Canelo's talent would have to cheat. Others would say well, he's moved up in weight and is stronger and more powerful than ever before, and walking down these bigger guys.
I respect either opinion, whether you suspect him or not.Boxing Beast likes this.

PED's aren't cheating if everyone is on them (which they are). Canelo is just a better boxer.
Lot of salt out there because he's the cash-cow but he isn't taking anything that everyone else at that level isn't doing already.Boxing Beast likes this.

While I accept that current doping policies leave some gray areas (in training, out of training rules, etc), punishments for violators, especially at the championship level, need to be levied consistently and forcefully. If the stars of the game get off lightly for violations, then it undermines the whole effort.

I actual think across the board due to head trauma in the sport alone if you doping suspension should be more due to injury or possible death you could possibly cause. As a former fighter myself think it should be an even playing field, your talent and conditioning and team against mine anything outside of that is wrong end of story.
