canelo being boxing biggest draw needs to do more than a million ppv . kinda sad yet looks like time to take a risk or high name fight charlo ggg at 168 or challenge bivol at 175 either might get you there.
Comments Thread For: Canelo-Plant Showtime PPV Show On Track To Reach 800,000 Buys
Collapse

If you read the article, it clearly says domestic buys only, meaning just the U.S, UFC fans make a big deal on their buy rate, where it clearly states, that when they count their PPV, it's a global count, not just domestic, so when it comes to boxing stars and UFC stars PPV counts, boxing clearly sells more in the U.S,
Btw Conors fight a few months ago specified 1.3m domestic buys and 1.8m total. So it massively outdrew this fight. Add to that that the UFC is on PPV like twice as often, and that a lot of "boxing" PPVs now are freakshows often involving MMA fighters, and you are seriously clutching at straws.Comment

O yea .... normally a thread like this would have many more comments by now, but these Haymon haters are in their grandmama's basement right now shytting on themselves. They wanted this event to fail so bad but unfortunately it didnt. Haymon just put in the dirt the whole "PPV is dead, apps are the future" bullshyte. 800k was against Plant who really doesn't have a 'natural' boxing fanbase in America, but Charlo and Benevidez do. PPV fights with those two will crush anything DAZN can do!Comment

Unbelievable numbers considering it was up against a stacked ufc card. It just goes to show, that boxing fans don't give a **** about undercards. It's all about the main event.
Charlo or benavidez nextComment

Over the last 6-9 months everyone has been asking you the same thing. You love calling Al and Floyd gay but you will never address the pictures of ODLH with fishnets on and the fact that he let hookers stick kitchen utensils up his azz. Please enlighten us on why you think it's cool to stick something other than toilet tissue anywhere near a man's rectum. Please please please for once explain your actions. I am inclined to side with FLOYD IS TBE that you're a closeted hoemoe and mad that you cant keep a deeke out your mouth so you finally found a safe place on this forum to air your grievances. But he is right that it is acceptable now (not by me) for a man to get rammed up his backbone by another man in today's society. And you're right that people like you did pay to see PPVweather lose, because you are a loser. I'm an old school dude that has paid for every PPV event from Sugar Ray, JCC, Tyson, ODLH, Sweet pea, PPVweather, Pac, Canelo and every other one because I love great big time fights. You are a lil frail beta t-male that has been programmed to hate yourself and love everything that hollywood tells you to. You have images of John Wayne and Marilyn Monroe ingrained in your heart but posters of WU tang clan and Micheal jordan on your wall. Damn your life has been fuqed.
I've never seen these pics of Oscar and the kitchen utensils. If you people like to look at pictures of men with things up their anuses, cool. Enjoy.
That said, Haymon was caught with a ****** hooker. Gay.
Gayweather beats on women and likes to be surrounded by big burly men he calls bodyguards. Gay incel.
Those are facts.Comment

Charlo don't deserve it.
Charlo needs to fight Benavidez first at 168 to earn the shot. He doesn't deserve to waltz into a +10 million payday after not fighting at this weightclass, not having a belt, and fighting subpar competition.
Tell me why he deserves a shot.Comment

All the floyd vs Canelo stuff doesn’t interest me which clearly has a racial tone to it. What does interest me is that this Canelo vs plant fight did twice as much on gate as the Canelo vs Saunders fight even though the Eddie Hearn sweet carolines bragged about 70k in a stadium. Canelo v plant literally doubled the profit on gate alone. Let that be a lesson to you size queens back in the U.K. always bragging about how many in a stadium….it will never match up to a Vegas fight. And if you have never been to Vegas for big time boxing you simply can’t fathom that the city becomes the capitol of global boxing. Let us also rejoice in that the teaming up of al Haymon, Espinoza, Canelo, and plant produced 800k PPVs.
Canelo would be crazy to go back to fighting in obscurity on the deadzone with “I talked to Canelo last night” Hearn.
al haymon is a true businessman who knows all the angles, he has no equivalent. And if that chaos your hide because you’re a racist piece of filth then go ahead and dump a tin of cream in your point of contact for your case of the red azz you basement dwelling grocery sacking mother paying bills criminal record having online gamer playing pocket punani loving incels

And hats off to showtime for not going the dayzin route and taking a back seat to the ufc. That was the most shameful act I have seen by a boxing outfit to date. Canelo, pbc, and showtime said “we are boxing and we take a backseat to no one.” Good move, old skool G move. Boss move. Money move. Player move. I’ve said it over and over, ufc fan base in the usa are suburbanite rich kid hipsters combined with the trailer park biker bar beer drinkers. Boxing is a mix of the inner city and the big money high rollers. By the way, yeah….on another note….wasn’t showtime supposed to be out of the boxing business? Wasn’t a particular promoter pushing that? Wasn’t it supposed to coincide with the “American takeover?”Last edited by Oldskoolg; 11-12-2021, 06:52 AM.Comment
