So does nobody realize or know that the PPV provider takes 50%???? Does anyone pay attention that this fight needed to sell 1.3 million ppvs to pay out the main event ? This card may have broke even with sponsorships and international rights but it was not a success. Canelo is far from the ppv king when he’s selling half of what Jake Paul sells, he needed this fight to sell huge and it didn’t, it’s going to effect his negotiation with PBC. Would you invest $150 million into Canelo if you’re not going to see a return on that investment??
I’m thinking Canelo is headed back to DAZN, where they just pay him and he doesn’t have to worry about ppv sales

both of those numbers were after canelo fought Floyd and not his first Ppv. As a matter of fact, Canelo’s fight with Liam smith was after he fought Floyd, Angulo, Lara, khan and Cotto. So what’s your excuse about that? Bottom line again, canelo has two Ppv opponents as the A side that surpassed a mil buys and that was Chavez jr and ggg. Everyone needs a dance partner so don’t act like canelo is doing these numbers just off his name and Floyd needed a name opponent.
