Dude relax. Part of being a fan is having a favorite you will always watch.
you loved it when ggg was beating up scrubs.
don’t tell me you didn’t watch because the other guy had no chance to win.Comment

A draw is not out of line for how that fight went in my opinion.
i think the ole chestnut first ggg fight that gets endlessly argued about, i think i will say i will never mention it again hopefully as its been done to death, i think that was a clean loss for canelo, i really cant see how u could give him more than 5 rounds at all even being hyper generous with 5 maybe, thats a close-ish but clear fight i think, birdlady was there to give nelo a win on the cards no matter what happened, thats clear anyway, i think nelo was clearly beat on that night

i wouldnt have paid 60 quid to watch him beat wade. plant had no business being in that ring on saturday night, they conned the fans by hyping the event up and acting like it was a proper match up, a lot of fans who tuned in on saturday wont watch boxing againComment

i will have to rewatch it again to be honest, i have a few rewatches on the list and this time i will write down my cards and try to put them somewhere i can ever find them again, i will watch it this time as a nelo fan scoring the fight too to see whats the max i could give himComment

That is because ggg isn’t a ppv level guy at the time. You also clearly didn’t care it was a mismatch.
they didn’t con anyone. People aren’t as ****** as you try to make out here.
Of course they will watch again.
You said same thing about fury/ wilder and that drew well.
dude ufc had a monster card same time. College football on. NBA on. Canelo does 800k against a relative unknown and you’re mad about it?

check the comments on here, many people seemed to think it would be a competitive fight and plant had a real chance. i posted before the fight that it was a mismatch and it was. real fans knew he wasnt bringing anything to the table and was completely out of his depth but the promoters sell these mismatches on the basis of the opponent being an unbeaten champion, which means nothing

More than likely he will clear 55-60 million. Maybe even a little more. Just domestic US sales, PPV and live gate. The fight made $84 million. Add in the everywhere else sales and rights. The fight has to overall easily do over $100+ million, easily.
I say when it’s all said in done Canelo will prolly top out at over $60 million.

Yeah, but that figure does not take into account the cable/satellite/network fees. But with the Mexican TV rights as well as all the sponsorships and the money made in the arena? He can definitely get close to or even surpass the 50M mark.
