Benavidez has been sparring world champs since he was 13. throws 70 punches a round . Good jab good combos , he is a little flat footed and catches a lot of shot with his high guard defense . But credit to him I never seen a bloody nose , cuts , or black eyes.
dude is the only one at 168 that could trouble canelo imo

Wouldn't doubt Canelo taking a soft fight when he comes back. Maybe Dirrel in May, 3G in September and finishes the year with Benavidez. In the meantime it's almost one hundred percent guaranteed that none of the other guys are going to make any big moves until they get the payday from Canelo

In regard to Benevidez he loops his punches and lunges all ripe for an elite counter puncher like Canelo…he also leaves himself open to the body and Canelo is a murderous body puncher…Benevidez and his bravado will be his undoing and I’ll say Canelo KO 8
Did you just claim Canelo has a speed advantage over Benavidez? lol the delusion is out of control. David has Welterweight hand speed with serious power. I can't wait till they fight and Canelo gets beat up.

Stick around and don’t go off running creating an alt like the hundreds before you who made the same claim about Canelo numerous times. And yes Canelo is faster than Benevidez. Compared to Canelo he’s an amateur in every single category. There’s levels to this and Benevidez is no where close to elite in any boxing category.

I don't need to run. You need glasses if you think Canelo has faster hands than Benavidez, who is renowned for his hand speed, while Canelo is not. Canelo fans get more delusional by the day. Lets see if Canelo has the balls to fight him or just cherry pick more bums and shot fighters. The fact you claim benavidez is not close to elite shows you are a pathetic hater. He was sparring GGG and pavlik when he was 15, for 5 years, and abel sanchez said the best sparring work GGG ever got was a teenage Benavidez. Just let that sink in if it can.

Steroids or peds ..same thing both illegal

Fury and bjs are just a couple of idiots and that's probably why they got caught but as with Canelo fans presented evidence of having an illegal ped in his system regardless of the amount all their fans are happy too sweep it under the carpet and act like the men are saints

Canelo will have a dedicated team of professionals juicing and cycling him real good inbetween test dates that he probably has really good notice for

I'm not emotional you picked me up wrong it's simply the truth

I'm a fan of Canelo but he has been caught with a performance enhancer in his body with a really bad excuse

Hes also been favoured in several fights he possibly should have lost or at least been scored a draw but he always gets the nod by a large margin(whether that was a golden boy influence I'm not sure, its been a while since we had to study the cards)

I have watched some more of Benavidez fights, and unfortunately? Benavidezdoes not going to beat Canelo Alvarez.

Benavidez movement is worse than Canelo Alvarez's, outside of his ability to throw combinations 'I don't see any great attributes'.

He also looks to be a fighter, who is weight draining himself to be at 168 pounds 'He reminds me of Tony Bellew at 175 pounds'.

During one of his fights, the commentators where saying that as a teenager he was weighing over 200 pounds.

Note: So this is all the middle-weight division can offer these days to tackle Canelo Alvarez? As I have said before the entire middle-weight to light heavyweight divisions are way below par 'All the fighters ether lack physical strength, elite level attributes or punching power'. Never before has a fighter came up from 147 pounds, and his main attribute of intimidation NOW 'Is his physical strength and punching power'. Thomas 'The Hitman' Hearns hit hard, but he could still be pushed about by most middle-weights 'And Hearns unlike Alvarez was renowned for his punching power even at the lower weight classes'.

David was a fat 13 year old. That’s why he was over 200 pounds.

Canelo would literally drain him self to make 154- won the 160 belt fighting at 155. Claimed to be to big for 154 and to small for 160. he wasn’t exactly a true 147- ever.

Canelo never mention unifying 168 til he got news that David lost his belt on the scale then he demanded it be him v yildrim for the van can’t title and wbc denied that and out the vacant title on the smith fight instead.

Canelo knows David isn’t easy and that’s why he avoids him. Time is on David’s side to

Let’s get one thing straight Karen, I’m a boxing fan first and foremost. If you’d done any homework on me and my profile you’d find I liked both Plant and Canelo as they both are at the top of their game. I’m sorry that facts don’t care about your feelings but Benevidez is not anywhere close to elite. Name me a single fighter Benevidez has faced that’s an A-side fighter. A single one…Cmon I’ll wait… no? That’s because he hasn’t and you call him an elite fighter.

Theres no sense in getting emotional over facts.
