I’m sorry that facts don’t care about your feelings but Benevidez is not anywhere close to elite. Name me a single fighter Benevidez has faced that’s an A-side fighter. A single one…Cmon I’ll wait… no? That’s because he hasn’t and you call him an elite fighter.

Theres no sense in getting emotional over facts.

Benavidez is two time WC , the youngest ever at SM and has beaten better fighters (and more impressively) than Plant has, yet you rate Plant higher? This logically makes no sense and proves you know nothing about boxing. Does it bother you than you probably one of the few people on earth who rate Plant over Benavidez? David stopped Dirrell who was the champ and unbeaten for 6 years, that alone is better than Plant struggling with Truax and Uzcateki. If you had any knowledge you would know David is in a totally different class to Plant.

Don't take my word for it. Go on youtube and see the comments for actual pro fighters who literally all claim Benavidez is a very tough fight for Canelo. Sort of the opposite to what some random muppet on a fight forum thinks. I wonder whos opinion is more educated?

You want facts? cool. My opinion aligns with the pro fighter community. While yours is the total opposite. Embrace those facts. lol.

Can you quote me where I said I “rated Plant higher?” I never said that. However since you mentioned it I feel Canelo will take out Benevidez much easier than he did Plant. Styles make fights and Benevidez will be there all night to be hit. I’m calling body shots all night long and then ending with a hook and uppercut

Canelo never mention unifying 168 til he got news that David lost his belt on the scale then he demanded it be him v yildrim for the van can’t title and wbc denied that and out the vacant title on the smith fight instead.

Canelo knows David isn’t easy and that’s why he avoids him. Time is on David’s side to
Time is on Benavidez side, but he is struggling already. Struggling to make the weight, and come in condition at 168 pounds all of the time.

Do you think Benavidez stays in condition all year round? Has he got that kind of work ethic installed within is game?

From what I have observed of him, his traits are not a good combination to have, going up against Canelo Alvarez or anyone in history at elite level.

Benavidez in all honesty, looks to be doing exactly what Tony Bellew was doing at 175 pounds. He probably needs to move up to 175 pounds, and stay there.

Note: Canelo Alvarez would win via stoppage between rounds 9-12.

There's no way he makes the championship rounds imo

He will feel the clen powered punches to the body early and be a corpse by round 8

Benavidez movement is worse than Canelo Alvarez's, outside of his ability to throw combinations 'I don't see any great attributes'.

He also looks to be a fighter, who is weight draining himself to be at 168 pounds 'He reminds me of Tony Bellew at 175 pounds'.

During one of his fights, the commentators where saying that as a teenager he was weighing over 200 pounds.

Note: So this is all the middle-weight division can offer these days to tackle Canelo Alvarez? As I have said before the entire middle-weight to light heavyweight divisions are way below par 'All the fighters ether lack physical strength, elite level attributes or punching power'. Never before has a fighter came up from 147 pounds, and his main attribute of intimidation NOW 'Is his physical strength and punching power'. Thomas 'The Hitman' Hearns hit hard, but he could still be pushed about by most middle-weights 'And Hearns unlike Alvarez was renowned for his punching power even at the lower weight classes'.
You saw no other great attributes other than combinations? So you missed the blazing hand speed which everyone raves about, or his punishing power which has resulted in 21 out 24 stoppages? Christ, get some glasses.

You claimed a 2 time SM champ including youngest ever in the division, who is undefeated and destroyed every single fighter he has ever faced as 'not elite' and still expect to be taken seriously? I assume you will at least admit Canelo has not faced a single elite fighter at SM yet and is unproven at SM right considering David's career is superior to all fighters canelo faced at 168? I suspect you won't but maybe you will surprise me.

Correct, he’s not elite. He won his title the first time due to it being a vacated title. He was then stripped due to lack of discipline popping for coke. He then takes a throw away fight and beats Dirrell who obtained his title through a vacated title. Benevidez then gets stopped again due to lack of discipline due to not making weight.

Thus far we have a fighter you choose to call elite that hasn’t defended his title yet a single time, has been stripped twice, has a padded KO record due to his non fighting of top talent.

Canelo OTOH has fought FOUR TIMES in one year with three being champions being the first to unify SMW. The fact that he fought three champions in one year is a testament to his greatness and the fact you can’t signify that speaks volumes. Benevidez is not anywhere close to Canelo in comparison.

There’s fighters then there is this generation of being moisty, millenial, soy boy talkers who believe a simple tweet, twat, or FB video equates to greatness or action in the ring. This is the age of over inflated self importance and achievement where Social Media can make one much greater than they truly are or ever will be without it. On the other side we have the Social Media, celebrity chasing followers who lap up every syllable spoken as if it were a dog at a bowl of water dying of thirst.

Now a “call out” on Social media that goes unanswered is considered “ducking.” Forget the fact that the person sending the message hasn’t earned squat it’s the simple fact he sent it that matters. Simply put, Benevidez is good but not anywhere yet close to elite.

GGG needs to fight Andrade next. They’re both in DAZN.

Benavidez needs to fight someone good for a change, one of these pbc guys will do:

                  - Plant
                  - Morrell
                  - Charlo

LMAO, is that a real thing?

How do you fight for a championship title at a catchweight?

Same way Pacquiao got a title when he fought Cotto at 145 catchweight and Margarito at 150 catchweight.

Don’t forget Floyd won the 154 titles when he fought Canelo at 152 catchweight.

That actually dawned on me after posting that comment but I was like f-ck it, I don't got time to edit that.
