Hagler beat two greats and had a controversial decision with another great

Alvarez has yet to beat a great. The one time he faced a great he didn’t win a single round

    As of now different levels.

Hagler beat a top 10 atg and arguably beat a top 15 atg

Alvarez goes life and death with Lara and ggg

      all good fighters

      but different levels

Duran wasn't washed up. Years later when he was even older, he beat the Blade. Duran was a good boxer too. Washed up fighters don't fight for almost 30 more years consistently lol.

Prime Hagler at middleweight thats a tall order.
Runners can get a decision on Marvin the first time around but in a rematch Marvin had a radar for tracking them down.
That being said Canelo would be a little too stationary the first time around.

Hagler would beat everybody on Canelo`s resume, including Floyd. Floyd is superior boxer, but Hagler would be too strong.

Hagler`s frame was bigger than Canelo`s. Canelo is juiced 154/160 guy. Hagler was a career middleweight.

No he is not. Canelo started his pro career at lightweight. Canelo is bigger than Duran, arguably bigger than Leonard, but Hearns and Hagler are bigger men.

It would be a great fight, Hagler has an all time great chin and it was tested often, Canelo also has a proven chin so it would be a war that probably goes the distance.

If Duran and Mugabi were touching up Hagler there's no doubt that Canelo would also land his own good shots.

The fact that people are bringing up Hagler as a fantasy fight proves Canelo is doing great things.

Canelo can win if he is on clenbuterol and the scorecards are filled out the day they announce the fight

A Canelo split decision win with hagler winning 9 rounds to canelos 3

Hearns and Leonard would box canelos ears clean off his head way worse than mayweather did
