Unfortunately for Dirrell, I don't think he'd get a fight with Canelo, unless the latter decided he didn't want another big fight next.

It would be quite an easy fight for Canelo to be honest. Dirrell has had a good career, he was a world champion. Perhaps he can move up and get a fight with Bivol before retiring.

Can’t say I blame him. At 37 I doubt his motivation and dedication are there anymore, which makes total sense. 20+ years doing the same thing. We all get over it. It’s the reason boxing is fumbling. No big fights when the fighters are hungry.

Might as well retire! I think David Morrell Jr. might be the "Boogey Man" @ 168, that "Boots" is @ 147! That might be a good path to take? The WBA is going to have to order the Champ to fight him at some point!

Nobody cares about a Dirrell vs Canelo fight. He really didn't have any momentum or credibility. It is true that Canelo has faced similar or worst caliber of fighter but if he gets selected it would be a disappointing fight.

I understand, but look I’m from Michigan and don’t even think he deserves a shot or is relevant anymore but that’s just my thoughts.
