Have a good retirement Dirrell. Not much of a loss if we're being honest.

That’s who deserve a Canelo fight, a young gun who comes to bring it! I know you still sleeping and forgot about all this relevant sh_tttt though.
I didn't say that he must be selected before Benavidez, I just wrote that he would deserve a payday more than people like those I mentioned. Even later on in 2022.

It would be a letdown of epic proportions if Canelo made this fight. Unless it was on free tv or something. Akin to when Floyd picked Andre Berto

                Anthony is a good guy.

Heck maybe he can talk to canelo and be like “ hey nelo give me a shot just a keep busy fight for you I’ll be grateful”.

Who knows Canelo might just feel bad for the guy.

I dont think the WBC will do that to Canelo, they already had a bumpy road before and wouldnt want to be on his bad side.

And - is he really worse as a Canelo opponent than, say, Callum Smith? Or fùcking Yildirim and Fielding?
Merits it more than Yildirim and Fielding (although I thought Fielding had some secondary belt at the time) perhaps. I don't know why, but I have never liked the Dirrell brothers as fighters (don't dislike them personally). I cant recall a fight where I didn't want their opponent to win.

Anthony is not from the same cloth of his brother Andre. He comes to fight, and he is a decent fighter. I believe he would try to win and get KTFO against Canelo rather than looking pathetic as Smith looked for 12 rounds.

Yes, you're right in regard to Fielding, he did have a minor belt at that time. Still, he deserved the Canelo payday less than Anthony Dirrell.
