I aint got a clue who Cruz is but given the majority responses on here stating its a better fight the rolly ill take that, my opinion though, if this is a fire fight that is expected based on both styles then cant see anyone lasting too long in a fight like that vs tank as he seems to hit too hard. Imo.

It's only a marginally better fight than rolly and doesn't belong on ppv either. Cruz gets some dog in him but he's extremely crude,throws wide ass shots all the while hanging out in front of his feet with his head down. Begging to get ko'd by an uppercut which just so happens to be Tanks moneyshot. I'd be surprised if Tank doesn't ice him by the 6th.

Any other LW isn't gonna put that trash on PPV, except maybe Lopez who beat the best LW and is the UD champ, no fake belts like Porky. The exact man who Floyd didn't want Porky to ever fight.

Yes, on an individual basis some decisions are putrid and corrupt. That stated, he is seen as a top 11 fighter by every credible organization, which suggests he isn’t as bad as people that hate Tank/Floyd/haymon post.

No other LW is a proven ppv draw like Tank. He is on ppv because he generates sales. Teo we will see.Too bad for him so much crap with that fight.

Ellerbee made it clear Floyd and Haymon are going to build Tank using guys they employ. That bothers people on a number of levels. It deprives fans of some very interesting fights.

I do agree Tank is not going to be fighting a non Haymon guy next year. I expect Rolly will get cleared and they will fight then Russell moving up fight in Maryland.

I fully expect NSB to go bat sh-t crazy with anger and hate.

It’s interesting to see alleged boxing fans calling Cruz a bum even though he is top 11 in every sanctioning body rankings.

of course a lot of the animosity is because Tank is good enough to beat a quality fighter and because he works with Floyd and Haymon.

I guarantee if any other top 135lber fought Cruz there wouldn’t be the same animosity.

I think one of the important factors you’re leaving out is the fact that it’s on PPV. I suspect that people are interested but don’t feel this is a fight worth paying $80 for. And quite frankly it’s not. I understand what they’re trying to do with tank but Barrios, Rolly, & Cruz aren’t the answer.
