As I said, only thing he will do is get beat up even worse. Yeah he can “try” to impose his size but for what? He fought safely and still go picked apart so now he will leave himself more exposed against someone that was beating him up when he was trying to limit the holes. These are the same people counting on fury leaning on usyk for 8 rounds to beat him, usyk isn’t an idiot and has great feet. Go look at late in that fight how he slides laterally and unloaded when Joshua tried grappling…

Honestly, I don't think he took Usyk seriously until it was close to the fight hence he kept asking everyone dumb questions on fight night. Ty on YouTube was claiming AJ was all over Sheffield clubbing and he wasn't taking Usyk seriously, a few weeks to the fight. And Johnny Nelson also brought it up when he interviewed him a couple of days to the fight that people saw him out and about all over Sheffield and AJ quickly changed the topic. Johnny Nelson is from Sheffield and lives there and he many people saw AJ around and words were getting back to him, lol.
That said, what anyone who's objective saw was AJ starting slow and backing off until the mid rds when he got a bit aggressive. He was losing when he backed off and dominated the fight whilst hurting Usyk multiple times when he got aggressive. Then he gassed out and by the 12th rd he was completely gassed. Fight was competitive until the championship rds when he gassed and anyone who says otherwise is an idiot.
So if you're AJ - you'll go into the rematch doing what you're successful in doing in the first fight from the first rd with more pop in your punches and follow through. Then take the mid rds off to get a second wind whilst hugging and fighting dirty. And go into the championship rds a bit fresh. That was what he did against Pulev and it's not some rocket science.Fighter78 likes this.

Usyk easily lands more and the more effective punches rounds 1-3 no need to go into details for the first 3 it's obvious
Usyk 30 Joshua 27
Round 4 usyk the most dominating round of the fight so far completely out lands Joshua 18 punches to 3 roughly give or take one either way
Usyk 40 Joshua 36
Round 5 Joshua lands the more effective punches and lands roughly 10 or so more than usyk..Joshua even does a subtle showboat near the 2 min mark his confidence is increasing but he excerts himself a lot to stay competitive with usyk punch for punch, its a tired show boat
Joshua round
Usyk 49 Joshua 46
Round 6 Joshua lands 13 to usyks 7..Joshua lands two cracking right hands that you would give him the round for even if the punch stats were in usyks favour...noticed that it was the loosest Joshua has looked flowing his punches not loading up to time usyk better
Joshua round
Usyk 58 Joshua 56
Round 7 usyk lands two beautiful overhead left hooks Joshua imposes his weight at the start and lands two crunching left hooks to the body and one right body shot
22 punches landed by usyk to 11 for Joshua
Usyk round
Usyk 68 Joshua 65
Round 8 Joshua Outlands 15 to 11 with 5 crunching body shots..usyk lands an overhand left once again and a straight left not much damage but clear and clean head snappers another round where if the punch stats were in usyks favour you'd give it to Joshua for the body shots they were devastating
Clear Joshua round
Usyk 77 Joshua 75
Round 9 clear round to usyk I count 19 to usyk 12 to Joshua nothing of significance landed sheer amateur scoring and usyks output won the round
Clear usyk round
Usyk 87 Joshua 84
Round 10 nothing of significance once again I counted 15 punches for usyk 14 for Joshua..
Even round margining for error and taking away favoritism
Usyk 97 Joshua 94
Round 11 ...18 punches by usyk to Joshua's 14 ..more even than I remembered and Joshua was winning the first two mins with the better punches but usyk stepped up in the last min and clearly took the round
usyk round
Usyk 107 Joshua 104
Round 12 usyk lands 39 punches to Joshua's 12..usyk lands the better punches and rocks Joshua.. along with the punch score landed I'd say it was an obviously dominating round and I'd give usyk a 10-8 round personally
Usyk round clearly
Usyk 117 Joshua 112
Now ****em since you talk about this fight so much and claim aj dominated at times...we would love to see your round by round breakdown
I have it 8 rounds to 3 with one draw round in favour of usyk ...not one dominating round to Joshua and 3 or 4 dominating rounds for usykLast edited by Stuntman Mike; 11-01-2021, 10:22 AM.

AJ won rd 2, 6, 7 and 8. Fight slipped away from him in the 9th rd.

If Usyk hears the final bell he wins
Even the first fight was bizarre. In instances where AJ needed to hold and rest his weight on Usyk, he was the one pushing Usyk away. The most obvious one was when Usyk caught him flush on the chin in the 3rd rd or so with a straight left. He was meant to hold there but he pushed Usyk away, lol.
A few tweaks and he'd be alright. Usyk isn't invincible. People said worse after the first Ruiz fight and swore by their mum AJ can't fight on the backfoot. And I told them he'll beat Ruiz comfortably in the rematch. But when Ruiz lost - Ruiz getting fat (when he has always been a fat guy and he put on weight for more power) has been the excuse, lol.
AJ wins the rematch.

Also you need to watch round 7 again..usyk landed double the amount of punches Joshua did and landed two big left hooks
Joshua did land a couple good body shots but with usyk landing double the amount of punches and the two big lefts it's a no brainer usyk round
And you missed Joshua clearly won the 5th roundLast edited by Stuntman Mike; 11-01-2021, 11:53 AM.

I guess he didn't watch the fight as well.

What he is describing is more of a do or die strategy. Yes, by being more aggressive Joshua will win rounds. I'm convinced Joshua can win any rounds he chooses to but he cannot sustain that level of activity for more than 4-5 rounds. If he can't finish Usyk, he finishes himself.Fighter78 likes this.

I like Joshua....but if he doesn't come ready to accept leather on that chin then he might get finished early in this rematch.....like somewhere between the 6th and 8th rounds.

i keep forgetting Usyk has three belts - still hasnt settled in. Cant wait to see Usyk v Fury, unless their next two fights show something completely surprising, I can see Usyk beating Fury with not too much trouble. Fury is slow, hiw punches are not crisp, he'll get rocked and rocked during his mauling tactics.TDLand
