Where did I post anywhere that it was an easy fight?

Shakur will body Valdez in a way that would remove him from being a headliner. That is why Arum is stalling that fight.

So he instead will have Navarette move up. I like Navarette and am the only person who has him as. top 10 p4p boxer. That said we don’t know how he will perform at the next weight class.

Shakur/ Berchelt wasn’t made because Shakur would’ve easily bodied him and taken away the Valdez/Berchelt payday.

The fight to make next is Shakur v Valdez- the best fighting the best at 130.

Navarette fighting Berchelt in his first fight at 130 to see how he performs at the weight on the same card. Then make Shakur/ navarette if both wins.

Let’s stop holding Shakur back. There is no need for him to fight Berchelt right next. If that happens that is Arum milking a payday from the Mexican audience.

If you’re serious about the best fighting the best, which I doubt, then you can’t justify Shakur/Valdez not happening next.

Yea. Lucrative paydays in fights they have little to no chance of winning or advancing their careers primarily against Haymon's marquee black fighters. The Charlos, Davis, Broner, etc. are always matched with Hispanic guys who are meant to lose to them. Just like Davis' next opponent. A young Hispanic on the rise, just like Romero, being fed to one of Haymon's favorites and basically send his career backwards. Nobody was expecting Romero to win, much less Cruz. They don't even try to hide it. Just look at those guys boxrecs.
