GGG is a great fighter that catches a lot of hate, murderous puncher with a killer instinct, went two very close fights with the worlds best Canelo that has gotta mean he is right there, I think Ward was all wrong for him, wrong for Canelo as well, Ward is like a modern-day Mike McCallum, kind off lulls you to sleep while he is winning the fight, very technical and very hard to beat over 12 rounds, Ward is an underrated boxer, nothing flashy just so hard to beat.
Do you think GGG's handlers had doubts ? Why did they keep letting him fight stiffs instead of testing him ? Being a natural MW nowadays is perfect for jumping divs.

Ward surely would have given GGG and Nelo L's.

My gut feeling says they thought Ward would be too much, but inside the circle, they never talk like that, they just call things like it would be better business to fight such and such instead, we know you can beat him but we don't need the fight, that kinda stuff is what generally goes down. I don't blame them, Ward is like a spoiler type and nobody likes to fight that style especially when somebody is so good at it and also bigger.

But its not a wash, GGG punches like a mule he has a good chance with anyone.

Sometimes an L can be the missing ingredient. Let's the loser know what is needed to improve on (IF improvements can be made. Looking at Wilder right now).
Nelo certainly wasn't going to beat May but he went there. Now his brand is through the roof. Team GGG was so caught up with a MW record, they lost sight of the bigger pic. I'm not going to say GGG has no skills. He does. But sometimes, like Bud, a guy will APPEAR to be an immortal when they may not be.

He wasn't tested soon enough in his career and then his fans cried about him being past prime.

Let me tell you something, I was at the Golovkin Jacobs fight. The most die hard G fans in the arena thought he lost the fight and was shocked at the decision. 95% of the forum thought he lost that night. See the rbr thread. Nearly nobody on the forum thought G beat Derv

You lack honesty. You can't honestly say G was robbed by Canelo in both fights without saying G lost to Derv/Jacobs
You're really reaching now ...

What about poor lara ???

What about juicing to have advantages...actually being caught juicing

You are the worst fan on this site my friend..such ignorance

That's very true but if ggg was competitive with a juiced nelo who many consider p4p today then that's a decent achievement in any career considering most think he actually won cash and "brand" aside

The guyS from the same town borat is from and nelo is from the biggest boxing fans country in the world ,what do you expect?

You, on the other hand, have ZERO evidence of ANYTHING you are saying. It's obvious you are making everything up.

How do I know you are lying?

Jacobs down in the fourth round.

Official Scorecards

JUDGE'S SCORES 114-113, 115-112, 115-112 for Golovkin

The one thing we all know for sure is that you are a WEAK minded individual and not very smart. You lie when you can obviously be caught and you refuse to accept reality. That's a clear indication of a weak person. Just saying ....
Do you really feel the need to explain that ggg won against Jacobs..you got ****** in

Nobody had a problem with ggg being the winner against Jacobs until ggg was robbed against canelo and suddenly everyone tries to **** on gggs wins

When has ggg ever been in a controversial win like canelo had with lara?

The reason Nelo went into Floyd is he thought he could walk through him, they all seen Floyd as fragile and he is not going to hurt them so he was the fight they all wanted, and Floyd told them all the way, its different on the inside, its not like it looks on the outside, that's was the master boxer talking, and the fools weren't listening, too busy trying to fault him the virtues go unseen, and people don't like rewinding their mind if they might be forced to change it.

I get what you're saying its a strange game, you often wonder, its a tough cut-throat sport where only a few get all the cake the rest get crumbs, business rules and today its just running away on a money ship, the money being generated is mind-boggling and it's being seen by the fighters, they are the show and they want and deserve the biggest slice, and here we are.

It actually began when GGG made an offer to Ward and Ward turned it down, claiming a shoulder injury. That's when all of this began. It ultimately ended with too little, too late from team GGG and team SOG because Golovkin had the Canelo fight in the works. I think the big issue for some is that Abel Sanchez made contradictory comments in the past.
