exactly.. I LAUGH at those who cry about the rivalry and the **** that is said because they act like Dana White and UFC are innocent. Every time you bring up who started this rivalry they play dumb, def and blind though.

I think Dana is more threatened by Boxing then the other way around.
Or he can't really sell tickets and had to stir up that old hornets nest again in order to create revenue.

In the business model you are describing, the products compete independently for the consumer. I walk into Duane Reade and I'm getting either Tylenol OR Advil. I go to Pathmark and i'm getting Coke Or Pepsi. The consumer decides on the relative value.

But when you have a Top Rank fighter that can directly devalue a Golden Boy fighter, it is a different paradigm.

First things first. I hope youre not saying that JMM is nobody. What specifically do you agree with because he said a lot of ****** **** and I dont want to think youre that ****** too. I am a person who loves both the UFC and Boxing and it is obvious to me that Dana is reaching for pub. Anyone who saw Silva destroy Franklin twice will not pay top dollar for him as the headliner. May vs JMM wins easy. DAna and Rich Franklin must be life partners because thats the only way any CEO of the UFC would push for him as the main event.

I've been agreeing with White on a lot of opinions he has had on boxing.

              Excellent analysis. Spot on.

as a boxing fan, i say the same thing ("'what's his name' is fighting who?") when someone tries to talk to me about mma. i don't have anything against the sport (ufc, on the other hand...), i just don't follow it.

and any "big boxing fan" would not forget juan manuel marquez's name.

Not at all. He claims he's a big boxing fan but yet he doesn't know who Marquez is. Bull**** OR it could be he really does know Marquez but didn't want to mention his name due to criticize Mayweather on the opponent he's facing instead of Pac. But like I said, to me its more of the bull****.

Do some research, He trained as a boxer since he was a kid in chicago, He owns a gym that trains BOXERS AND MMA FIGHTERS. You people call him ignorant. And he knew marquez name, It was just an act
