It is interesting how so many of you are looking down on a fight between 2 guys in the top 5. Is it because a lot of you know that Whyte can go to the body and beat Fury? Is it because you know that his carefully crafted facade will be ruined once he actually starts fighting the best guys out there instead of Seferi, Pianeta and Schwartz? If Fury dumps the belt, and you guys support it, then you are not real boxing fansComment

Wrong.
“Considering the long inactivity in the division due to the pandemic, ongoing legal processes, and covid 19 infections, the WBC has ruled that the winner of this fight will have 30 days to secure a contract to unify the Heavyweight Division against WBO-IBF-WBA champion Oleksandr Usyk in search of an undisputed champion in the division.
“If no unification bout is secured within that time, the winner of Fury v. Wilder 3 must then fight next against the then reigning WBC Interim Heavyweight Champion.”

Fury/Whyte probably doesn't make huge money in the US, but it would in the UK. Reports seems to suggest the last two Wilders fights haven't broken even, so actually, not sure Bob would be that bothered. Could see him making a deal tbh.Comment

lmfao or maybe it's because he faked an injury to pull out of a fight, ****ing over his opponent financially. Maybe it's because people are tired of hearing this ******ed pathological liar and his silver spoon phaggot promoter bitching and whining about **** that they made up.It is interesting how so many of you are looking down on a fight between 2 guys in the top 5. Wrong! Never! This fight is a mandatory challenge and not a voluntary undisputed one like Canelo/Plant .The highest bidder wins the promotional rights to this fight.
The fact is if Top Rank and Matchroom cannot reach a deal then this fight goes to a purse bid. if Eddie Hearn and Matchroom wins it; Then Tyson Fury would be legally obligated to fight on the platform of their choice and in this case it would be DAZN; Or risk forfeiting his WBC title altogether..
The ball is in ESPN's court now. The question is how much are they willing to pay both Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte to keep him fighting on their network? I must admit that Eddie Hearn has played this one beautifully.
This fight is his insurance policy just in case Anthony Joshua loses his rematch to Oleksandr Usyk.Comment
