That's what I was saying. Fury ended the the Klitschko Era, and has been the best since then! He's not the "best ever!" If Deontay knocked him down 4 times in 3 fights, I doubt Fury would've beaten Lennox Lewis and Rid**** Bowe!

I think people are getting carried away with fury, his wins against klitchko and wilder were very good but he is no where near great, boxing is a young man's game, he is not even on buster Douglas's level as of now, at buster douglus beat a prime unstopple Mike tyson and went on to fight top fighters, even a decade ago people would be slated to fight guys in there 30 s it doesn't count for much both klitchko and wilder best days we're well behind even in the fights they had before fury they looked auful. wilder has been thoroughly beaten 3 times...was losing to Ortiz , losing rounds to spilka and Washington and fighting in even terms with duhaupas.
yeah Joshua lost to usyk and was beaten fair and square but usyk is an Olympic champion and former undisputed champion so that’s a big difference.
wilder would get destroyed by Joshua and he sticks around long enough it will happen.

Bruh, Buster Douglas flamed out after the Tyson victory...got fleeced by Holyfield and did nothing of note afterwards. Most would argue that Mike Tyson was coked up out of his mind and was barely training for that fight. The only reason people bring up Tyson/Douglas because it's the biggest upset to date in the sport and they really have no leg to stand on.

Don't you realize most of these "great" fights take years to make and most fighters peak and flourish in their early 30's? Most of those big fights happens when guys are in their 30's...as you can see at 135, those guys are in their 20's and haven't fought "the best"...let alone each other.

If Wilder's best days were behind him, then why even give Fury credit for the victory? If Wlad was so old, why does that victory even matter? Sadly, had both Wlad and Wilder beaten Fury, they would've been considered ATGs of some sorts. Smh

These are my thoughts as well. What would be ironic is if somehow Usyk manages to avoid the rematch (AJ injury) or the WBC makes a random and arbitrary move and Whyte doesn't get his fight with Fury.
