Even though I don't like Whyte I do believe his injury is real as he has had shoulder problems for years now. Once you tear that **** it's pretty much done for, always going to reoccur add years of steroid abuse and it's a double whammy.

Eddie ‘rematch clause’ ‘show us the scans’ ‘show us the x rays’ ‘step aside money’ ‘PPV is dead’ ‘undisputed’ 'at the hospital with Billly Hoe' Hearn will make sure Whyte ducks Wallin and tries to secure the Fury fight.

They're doing more interviews now than they ever did to promote the fight.

It's easy to have an independent doctor to exam Whyte and I'm sure Edward knows this .....unless he's lying (again)!

The important parts of the article that spell out what is going on:
Wallin wants their 12-round fight for Whyte’s WBC interim title to be rescheduled as well, but Whyte and Matchroom are not contractually obligated to reschedule what was widely viewed as a high-risk, low-reward bout for Whyte.
London’s Whyte might instead move straight to a more lucrative showdown with British superstar Tyson Fury, the unbeaten WBC champion. The WBC hasn’t ordered a bout between Fury (31-0-1, 22 KOs) and Whyte (28-2, 19 KOs) to take place next, but Bob Arum, Fury’s co-promoter, told BoxingScene.com on Friday that they would welcome the Whyte fight next for Fury.
The WBC has informed Wallin’s team that it will not require Whyte to reschedule his fight with Wallin because it was considered a voluntary defense of its interim championship. An attorney for Wallin also has petitioned the British Boxing Board of Control to request an independent physical examination of Whyte’s injured shoulder.
For those that need it spelled out even further. Matchroom, Top Rank, and the WBC were all in cahoots to facilitate this. Fury-Whyte is a big fight in the UK. A money maker for Matchroom and Top Rank and a large sanctioning fee for the WBC. This is boxing in a nutshell. There is nothing you can do about it.

Yep so it's tough luck unless Haymon and the PBC brass wants to fight this fight on the behalf of Wallin for some reason.

Simple, right now he's not obligated to reschedule this fight. Not contractually, not by the orgs, not in any way.

I absolutely feel for Wallin, but in comparison to Whyte I don't think he's that hard done by. Whyte has been paying his dues and is absolutely due a title fight.

If Whyte fought Wallin and lost, you'd all call Whyte a fool.

It's not even etched in stone that Fury would even take the Whyte fight if Joshua loses the rematch with Usyk. He just may vacate the title and have one final fight in the U.K.Before retiring. Let's just face some facts. Fury has already acknowledged that he's tired and is both mentally drained and fatigued from that Wilder trilogy..

Also, fights with Whyte, Wallin and Usyk are perceived as steps down for him at this stage of his career because they don't represent the same threat, danger or challenge as a Deontay Wilder fight does. He need fights that are going to keep him motivated and reinvigorated at this stage of his career. So ask yourself what better matchup that can do that other than an Anthony Joshua fight?
