Fury seems to level to his situation. He's got inherent talent and size so it's quite possible that he'd have performed better himself in a more illustrious era.

If he beats all the top fighters of his era, including multiple champions/ex champions, becomes Undisputed, and beat the clear best of the last era... then yes of course he's right in the mix.

That's a long way off though. It's years of fights ahead, and pretty unlikely they all happen. And that's if he even wants them.

No doubt he's Number 1 ranked right now, but he'll need a lot more than Wlad and Wilder to be considered in historical terms.

Well for sure it's subjective but that was kinda my point, most people don't have Wladimir top 5 or often even top 10, so surpassing Wlad doesn't suddenly propel Fury into top 3 or 5 ATGness.

Not even f**cking close haha. The same people that all of the sudden want to pretend Fury is some all-time heavyweight for knocking Wilder twice are the same people that have called Wilder an impotent boxer who hasn't fought a soul for the last 6 years.

They can't have it both ways. If Wilder is a an unskilled, one-trick pony, then how is Fury special? He's got a long road ahead of him. Whyte, Usyk, Joshua. Maybe a Joyce or Yoka?
