His dad's a white Cubano and his mom is half black.

Romero's parents are Cuban. His father was a boxer. He is not black nor white. Mulato. I really don't see what ethnicity have to do with the fight. But just answer the question, mulato is a mix of white and black.

Man people are always going to root for their own, that's human nature. This board is filled almost exclusively with posters who back fighters based on their race or country of origin.

The problem is when people let that impact how they rate fights and fighters.

People have to realize that sometimes your guy isn't that good/sometimes he loses. People on here have a really tough time with that.
