I am a big Wilder fan so obviously i dont choose who to root for based on race. BUT: I will always cheer for Robert Helenius because hes finnish. Gotta root for the home team!

So perhaps if Rolly is cuban and the guy asking is also CUBAN, thats a rooting interest, isnt it? Boxing is a tribal sport and people like to root for their own. BUT u gotta be careful so u dont start talking down on other races or peoples instead of rooting for your own!

I feel like I've read 10 different responses in this thread as far as his ethnicity. Reminds me of when someone said Ndamukong Suh was black thai lol

it's nothing wrong with cheering for your country man, but I've seen guys cheer against our own olympic team because they weren't white. And I have proof lol.

Man people are always going to root for their own, that's human nature. This board is filled almost exclusively with posters who back fighters based on their race or country of origin.

The problem is when people let that impact how they rate fights and fighters.

People have to realize that sometimes your guy isn't that good/sometimes he loses. People on here have a really tough time with that.

Mulato is also considered offensive. Thats a word colonizers came up with. Hes Cuban American

He's a time traveller from the future where all races have mixed into one. Sadly in the future the level of boxing skill has rapidly declined as you might notice from his performances
