I can't recall ever seeing Chisora in a dull fight but this might be the first.

I could see it being someone like Kuzmin. Another decent 2nd tier HW.
I actually think Hughie is a decent enough fighter and even though Chisora is my favorite boxer, I could see a scenario where Hughie outboxes him. Hughie's problem is that his lack of power and timid style will only take him to a certain level.

Funny you mention Kuzmin as a possible opponent, I had said the same name in another thread as someone who Hughie should target.

Chisora is one of my favourites too. Kuzmin seems like he has gone as far as he can go. He is big & slow. He has some pop but he is easy to hit. I think he is a safe opponent for anyone in the top 20 looking to stay busy. If Hughie is actually going to fight in December it will have to be an opponent willing to step in with only a 4-6 week camp depending on the date in December. Kuzmin seems like the perfect opponent. I also thought about Charr as well. Not sure what he is doing after crushing Lovejoy. I have no idea if he is still in the WBA interim/regular mess…

Derek Chisora is under no obligation to face Hughie Fury. Chisora if he beats Joseph Parker, is miles ahead of Fury in the heavyweight rankings 'And is then only 1-2 fights away at a title fight opportunity'.

This fight will have to make business sense for Chisora if it is to happen, because Chisora has no issue catching big fights elsewhere etc

If this boy and his dad say he’s the second coming etc etc why is he messing about with Del Boy ? We know del suits the suits behind sky as a safe bet but if your serious hughie fight someone like wallin and earn an eliminator of some kind then son we may believe in you ..
