As soon as you have one foot out of the door, it's all over. Mikey has been focused on other things and boxing has become nothing more than a quick money-making tool for him. I think it's time for him to focus on what he's been focused in outside the ring and leave boxing alone. Sad but it is what it is, sometimes we outgrow things, I remember when Robert, his brother, retired at 26.

Well it wont suddenly make him a superstar but it will help put attention on boxing.

The US and UK are more like the centre stage to showcase boxing to the globe, but we know dazn's business model from early days for boxing was to try and crack the global market. just following the footsteps of the EPL.

You may have noticed how there are indians, eastern europeans, nigerians and even arabs writing comments on youtube boxing content.
fRom that perspective it doesnt matter if non matchroom events do great eg fury vs wilder was great for global boxing and great for dazn long term. If it worked out, say you got a regular 2.5m and 1.5m subs in the uk and another 10 globally.
14m subs globally paying $99 a yr for boxing, it leaves a lot in the pot for fighters and the sport.

a lot of americans are too inward looking. Boxing is a global sport, they prefer grown american men playing rounders over boxing.

I don't know of any adjustments that Mikey Garcia can make in a rematch..I can only see the same result as this one. He'll turn 35 next year and his skills appear to be waning due to ring inactivity.

If I could pick any fighter for this to happen to, it'd be Mikey. See you in another 18 months for another pointless fight,

I never heard of Sandor but well done. I'll have to have a look at the fight; although I've not been interested in Garcia ever since he lost badly to Spence.

I am SO HAPPY with the outcome! YAY! Finally mickey mouse will be retired by another fighter and not by his own lazyness and lack of desire.

Its weird to say but im shocked how fair the judges scorecards were yesterday.

April hunter, elwin soto and mikey garcia lost but each opponent had a style that wasnt difficult to rob.
