Why Joshua Seen As Lacking Heart

    he has heart imo

But the way others speak of him. As if he needs to train his heart

Is it because he's the division's pretty boy

It's because he is lacking in that department. That first fight with Andy Ruiz must have permanently ruined him. He is so afraid of getting hit now or throwing and let his punches go for fear of getting countered.

He is not going to defeat Usyk unless he is willing to be aggressive and engage with the smaller man; Something that he was very reluctant to do in their first meeting.

Heart isn't something you train, numpty.

You have it or you don't. We've seen AJ break and quit. We know he's mentally weak. The gym doesn't change that.

AJ hasn't been the same guy since old man Wlad found his chin and nearly stopped him. Even in fights Joshua easily won since then he's fought scared. Even against feather-punching geezers like Pulev.

He accepted defeat against both Ruiz and Usyk. He didn't go out on his shield, he didn't risk it all trying to get the KO. When Wilder went down like a sack of bricks in the 11th against Fury and the ref waved it off, Wilder was still trying to get up anyway. Even with his body disconnected from his consciousness by violent force he was trying to get up and fight. Not spitting out his mouthguard and backing away with his hands down like Joshua vs Ruiz.

I begin to think more along the lines of " he doesn't enjoy a fighting" as much as he needs to. He looks tentatively afraid in the ring since the Ruiz fight but he does go out there and try and doesn't quit so I would find it hard to say he doesn't have any heart or is a coward.

He showed heart in the Wlad fight but showed quit in the Ruiz fight. I wouldn’t say he necessarily lacks heart but he’s mentally fragile in the ring.

Well said. Ruiz 1 was the end of AJ.

Wow that gif speaks more than a thousand words. It just hasn't been the same since the Ruiz loss hasn't it?

Dillian Whyte showed us how to avenge a loss. He came in wanting to knock Povetkin out, knowing Povetkin can also end it with one punch.

AJ showed heart in the Wlad fight. I blame not only the Ruiz loss but his trainer, he needs to urgently get a new trainer and abandon this amateur trainer. I appreciate loyalty it is a great quality and AJ has loads of it, but surely he must know that McCrappen isn't the one?
