Absolutely his stock went up due to his heart. The man has two things in boxing, a huge right hand and a massive heart, and that’s what got him to 10 defences of the heavyweight title, entertaining trilogy for all time, and as Ali would have said “millions’ and millions’ a dollahs.” Great night of boxing that was, both boxing fans and non boxing fans alike were calling and texting to talk about the fight

Some people on here kill me with their comments and view points. How they dont realize we all saw something great, something different this past Saturday is beyond me. There was a David and Goliath moment for 11 rounds and Goliath got the win but not for lack of effort by the much smaller man. No matter how you scratch it up Wilder was/is the much smaller man and Fury is considerably better in every aspect of the sport besides 1 punch power yet somehow Wilder kept it interesting and somewhat competitive. Anyone who watched the fight and doesnt admit they were curious if Wilder would manage that super shot and pull of the win is only lying to themselves.

Alright, let's praise a punching bag that can barely stand on his twig legs. Great.

Wilder is the same scumbag that said he wanted a body in his record. He wanted to MURDER someone.

This dude is trash. No character. Sore loser. There's nothing positive about him at all. Cash your huge and undeserved payday and go away.

I'd like to think that most fighters would go out on their shield and fight until the end.
Curtis Harper straight up walked out as soon as the bell rang against Ajagba.

          Tor Hamer quit TWICE.

          Vitali Klitschko QUIT.

Victor Ortiz... I mean, f*k, the man is more known for quitting than not.

          Luis Collazo QUIT.

          Erik Morales QUIT.

          Rigondeaux QUIT.

          Gamboa QUIT.

          Brook arguably quit, it's debatable.

          Malik Scott arguably quit.

          Audley Harrison arguably quit.

          B-Hop arguably quit.

          Saunders arguably quit.

Nick Walters SMILED WHILE QUITTING and ran to hug the guy that made him quit.

Don't give me that BS about expecting fighters to go the distance or go out on their shield.

Wilder is a fighter with an awful technique, and that's what got him ruined. Yes, he did show a huge heart. And he must be thankful he's still alive.

But there were fighters in the past with the same heart who did not survive that kind of battering. Mancini does know something about that. Just from the 80s on, Duk-Koo Kim, Johnny Owen, Kiko Bejines, Jimmy Garcia, Leavander Johnson... the list goes on until just a few months ago.

Wilder could have ended like Gerald McClellan in there. We're lucky not to have witnessed something like that again.

Ray Mancini is a real classless piece of shit! Instead of encouraging the younger fighter he rather trash him, step on him and kick him while he is down and we all know the obvious reason why. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.

What is his claim to fame; A unanimous decision over Jose Luis Ramirez? He is an overrated bum ass fighter. He got his ass knocked out several times in his career from the likes of Greg Haugen to Livingstone Bramble. So really needs to shut the fuck up about Wilder.

The dumb racist piece of shit!

Wilder legacy not enhanced we all knew wilder cant box. Yet is a blessed athlete unlimited reach height athletism n amazing right hand . just met a rarity a bigger person just as quick yet can box. The 40lb weight differences does help imagine lopez vs even an old ggg let alone canelo so cudos. Wilder always reminded of a small foward probably had a quick temper yet cause could shoot the 3 chose to box.

Really gotta think its no american hw cause most ppl that size gets automatic scholarships football basketball even if not that good. Had we not had football n basketball less popular im 100% sure youd see more hw champs coming from usa. Yet u make more those sports add in endorsments jordan curry aron rodgers tom fn brady $$$. lebron james natural 6-8 270-280 solid muscle unlimited athlete him or half these allstar lineman focusing boxing mma back then instead of such. Hell even aron judge baseball. If you can be all state football baseball basketball that size strength athletism cant coach you can coach boxing n well doesnt matter if got a chin or not aj proven that yet hes still good. Wilder proven good promoters n a nasty right youll get a ship n 10 defenses.

I'm seeing things like "David vs Goliath" dudes were in the same weight division! It's so forced. He could garner all the kudos and respect he wanted if he just served a bit up himself...
