that move just took so much energy out of wilder. he should have just backed away or found another way to avoid the right hand. he never made any adjustmetns to this either, it happened over and over the entire fight.
I wanna know what was said in the corner, cuz if I’m in Wilders corner, I’m telling him to keep your distance and stay away from the clinches. 1-2 to the body from the outside.

Funnily enough I feel that Chisora and Whyte were the only real dogs but lol if you think either of them are anything resembling gracious.BodiesInFlight likes this.

I have never ever seen a champion as accomplished as Wilder with no basic skills, I mean outside of having a big punch and heart he’s garbage! I see so many things he does wrong but the other guy Fury whom they call a master boxer now, wasn’t able to expose. The man who loss to both Tyson and Wilder and was Wilder trainer and friend was flawed in he couldn’t take it, but skill wise much better than Fury or Wilder. I hope the young upstart Jared Anderson turns out better, he seem to have the natural ability.

Not unforgivable, it was EXPECTED by a lot of people, including my good self. Whenever fighters put on weight or muscle their speed and stamina comes down. This is why the likes of Frank Bruno, Anthony Joshua and any other muscle-bound fighter ALWAYS struggle in the final stages of a fight.
I was personally expecting that drop off to happen in the final third of the fight rather than halfway through though.
But I don't think the result would have been any better if Wilder was the same weight he was in the first fight, Fury is just too good. Jay Deas only lined up that fight because they thought that it would be another easy win like the rest of Wilder's opponents.
