He threw more punches early ran out of gas then proceeded to do what he could which even on his best night which was tonight couldn't secure a victory.
I was hoping he could get down to 220 more for stamina as he was always fighting around that weight. He never fought at 231 or 238 before. I said for months those chicken legs need some work. He never had time to adjust to the weight in real live action.26 lbs heavier than their first fight…

Those first 3 words are the truest thing said about Wilder.

that move just took so much energy out of wilder. he should have just backed away or found another way to avoid the right hand. he never made any adjustmetns to this either, it happened over and over the entire fight.
I can’t understand for the life of me why Wilder insisted on submitting to the clinches. Use your damn reach man. Fury’s the bigger man and more skilled on the inside. Fury wins on the inside every, single, time. The 1st rd when Wilder was throwing to Fury’s fluffy tummy was beautiful. If he kept with that more, maybe Fury wouldn’t have the energy on the inside.

I wanna know what was said in the corner, cuz if I’m in Wilders corner, I’m telling him to keep your distance and stay away from the clinches. 1-2 to the body from the outside.

And how many times have we actually seen it in heavyweight? It's been years since I remember seeing a real high level match with guys who put it all on the line. Funnily enough I feel that Chisora and Whyte were the only real dogs but lol if you think either of them are anything resembling gracious.

You mentioned them not me. In fact I have mentioned no specific names or levels. I am simply saying the division is full of warriors, and for the reasons I previously stated.

            • I have never ever seen a champion as accomplished as Wilder with no basic skills, I mean outside of having a big punch and heart he’s garbage! I see so many things he does wrong but the other guy Fury whom they call a master boxer now, wasn’t able to expose. The man who loss to both Tyson and Wilder and was Wilder trainer and friend was flawed in he couldn’t take it, but skill wise much better than Fury or Wilder. I hope the young upstart Jared Anderson turns out better, he seem to have the natural ability.

              • If he stayed in the ring and said that I'd be less inclined to call him a ***** about it.

fury got up twice from the hardest puncher there is and wilder did not get up from a soft punching fury. do you understand that?

I was personally expecting that drop off to happen in the final third of the fight rather than halfway through though.

But I don't think the result would have been any better if Wilder was the same weight he was in the first fight, Fury is just too good. Jay Deas only lined up that fight because they thought that it would be another easy win like the rest of Wilder's opponents.
wilder was juiced. impossible at his age to put on muscle.

this version of Wilder? Was the same old wild swinging Wilder after the 2nd rd…nothing new. Lost every rd except the 4th. Only legit top hw Wilder ever faced was the cuban senior citizen Ortiz..and He was losing both of those fights. Giving Wilder too much credit for losing literally 26 of 30 rds to a flabby fat Gypsy.
