wilder is a bum and was a knockout waiting to happen...no skill , no jab , no left , no balance , no stamina and was getting beat by almost any fighter he made a defence against.
duhaupas , ortiz , spilka even ****ing denzil Washington was out boxing him ffs lol
Turned down his biggest ever payday with Joshua to fight fury which he admitted this year.
Knocked the **** out several times by Wladimir klitchcko in sparring.
Joshua would devour wilder and usyk would tie him up in knots.
Your like DBN and Blue Bloood Sports absolutely deluded.
And Wilder would KO AJ almost every time they fight. AJ is tailormade for him. They could face 10 common opponents and have a similar enough record - but h2h, it's always WilderComment

Every time when you guys imagine this fight taking place the focus is always on AJs durability and Wilders punching power. For some reason it gets conveniently forgotten that Wilder is extremely hittable and a glass cannon himself, and that in an AJ fight they would BOTH be facing their hardest hitting opponent ever.Comment

Not really, Fury is the worst match up for Joshua. Anyone that can punch, has durability and mobility is a bad match up for Joshua.

Wilder/AJ would be an extremely slow paced fight, with both guys cautious. AJ would be scared to throw imo, and maybe 1 or 2 out of 10 he sees an opening and hits Wilder with something and is able to finish him.
Odds are, Wilder picks a good shot and lands it, and I don't even think it has to be a great shot. Just a solid shot, AJ will panic, and Wilder will finish him off. I don't see most of those fights going any other way.Comment

I meant worst matchup relative to opponent level - they could face the same crew of guys and have similar W/L records, but h2h Wilder is a heavy favorite in my eyes. Fury is just 2 levels above everyone else right now I think.

I dont believe Wilder would have the same success as AJ against a wide range of top 10ish level opponents, because he is just too one dimensional on top of being vulnerable. Joshua is vulnerable as well and would probably lose to a few other current HWs, but the difference is hes a glass cannon that can actually box a bit. Every time Wilder fails to land the Hail Mary at elite level hes going to lose imo.Comment

It would be two glass cannons facing off and would come down to who hurt the other first. Both of them react like **** and panic when they get caught, one is quicker and rangier, the other is more skilled. One throws a long range right hand that has the most power but is very telegraphed and predictable, the other throws heavy left hooks and uppercuts that arent as powerful but are crisper and less wild, and throws more combos.

Wilder is much tougher than AJ, don't even start that lol. He couldn't quite put out a 275 pound 6'9 man with a ton of heart, intelligence and toughness. Everyone else would likely go down over 12 rounds, and not get back up.
No clue what type of fighter he will be after those 2 beatings though, especially the last one.Comment
