Depends on who he fights, if he goes on a bum slaying spree he can box until 50 lol. He is exceptional no doubt.
If he fights some top guys probably two to three fights max.

His fighting style doesn't age well. He arguably has the best chin in boxing, but you can only take so many hits. So it's hard to say. He's fighting Murata. But he really wants to fight Canelo again. Canelo, however, said "no way" for obvious reasons. I bet Canelo was in bed for weeks after that last fight. Gennady buckled Canelo's knees in the last fight. The Golovkin fights were, hands down, the hardest fights Canelo has ever had. And I'm going to say they were harder than fighting Floyd. Floyd outboxed Canelo. Gennady actually hurt Canelo. And he won, without a doubt, the first fight. The second was closer, but it's easier to see it for Gennady than to see it for Canelo. The majority saw it as a draw.

So the point is that Canelo just doesn't want to take that punishment for the money because he has enough money now. It's a "risk" vs "reward" analysis. Canelo is going to take these easier fights to stat pad, uforntunately.

There's also Charlo, and Gennady said that he would be interested in that fight. An offer had been made to Charlo in the past but he turned it down. Alvarez made an offer to Charlo and he turned that down too. So who knows.

The only fighter that neither guy wants to fight is Andrade. And it's not because he's the Boogieman. He's more the BooBooman. As in it would be a "boo boo" if either guy fights him because Andrade has a fan base that is solely hardcore boxing fans. And after watching Boo Boo's last fight, not only does Canelo walk right through him, just as he's going to walk right through Plant, Gennady would walk right through him too. Gennady still hits like a heavyweight. That hasn't changed.

The only way we'll know how many fights Gennady has left is by seeing how he does against Murata, if that fight does materialize.

Had his first big fight at 35 , his resume is understandable for a MW given the fighters who ducked him but abysmal for someone so legit.

Has got maybe two more fights left in him .

Never understood that argument. Adding a washed up Sergio or a bloated old Cotto as wins would not be better wins than Lemieux, Jacobs, Murray, Derev etc. It's not just who you face but when you face them.

GGG has a lot of good pros on his resume who were all more or less in their primes/at their best weight, and he walked through basically all of them. He has 2 fights vs a top pfp fighter in their prime on his resume as well, where many think he won both of those fights. Most even great fighters only have 2 or 3 fights vs other great fighters in their primes on their resume.

Look at someone like Mike McCallum. I was looking at his resume and stuff on him the other day. I don't think anyone would say he has a bad resume. His fights with Toney mirror GGG"s with Canelo in many ways, both in age for GGG/McCallum and also the results in those fights. McCallum has Toney and RJJ on there again at the end of his run but he was 40 so who really cares about those.

I do think GGG could have given up some leverage especially later in his career to get some bigger names on there but it's a money business, and waiting around on Canelo paid off very well for him.

I watched the Canelo vs GGG 2 the other day and that was the first time i thought GGG was going to get knocked out. Canelo made a life long come forward power puncher fight like sweet pea and was on his toes on the backfoot for at least 8 of those rounds. i had Canelo in that fight and his corner had no complaints. The first fight GGG was robbed

GGG a helluva MW. Shouldve won Canelo 1, drew Canelo 2, lost to Dervenchenko

Fan girls cant accept what happened and say GGG undefeated but hes not. He also ducked rematches with Jacobs and Derv

                    Career of shoulda coulda woulda
