And the only time that Mayweather expressed interest in fighting Mosley in these higher weight divisions is when Mosley had just had a fight with Vargas at 154, and Mayweather expected him to drain seven pounds to meet the November deadline after Mosley had just fought Vargas in September. But when they were both at 147 with De La Hoya as not part of the equation, Floyd bitched out when Mosley had just dominated Collazo and won the WBC interim title. I don't know what kind of money Mosley offered to Floyd. Grustler says it was $8 million. But even so, Mayweather didn't offer any money to Mosley when they were one division apart as a Lightweight and a Superfeatherweight that I know of. Mayweather became a sell out after his victory over De La Hoya and Hatton.

I think Mayweather would've came back against an easier opponent than JMM if HBO didn't hold him accountable for his cherry picking ways. Also Floyd better bring his A game on Sept 19 because JMM isn't coming to lay down.

imho, the only reason why HBO went w/ floyd/jmm was because it would set up floyd/pac.

Do you honestly think that Mayweather was considered more of a threat than a prime De La Hoya at 147? You Mayweather fans kill me man. What Mosley did was similar to ignoring Berto and going after someone like Pavlik with the only difference being Mayweather is better than Berto. The fact is Mosley has wanted to fight Mayweather when De La Hoya has been out of the picture. Can't say the same about Floyd. Am I right or wrong about that?

I think Mosley is a great tough fighter but he has problems
with fighters that can work the ring and box. If you stand
in front of him then he has the edge but if you use a jab
and work around him then he gets thrown off. The first

of the ring but the rematch when De La Hoya hired Floyd Sr
and decided to box Mosley arguably lost that fight. Margarito
was right there to be hit but any fighter who won't stand in

lol yeah I hear ya. Next year IMO we'll see Mayweather vs Cotto. Not sure on who would win right now but we'll see depending on how Cotto looks vs Pac and Mayweather vs JMM. If Mayweather is in any form of how he left the game he beats every name above. He may not do it in a knock out fashion but I think he will have a win next to all the names above.

Mosley would be my first choice to see him in the ring with, but it'll be Pac or Cotto before Mosley. Mosley should of taken it when he had the chance..... Not only that if Mayweather DID want to fight him people would say he's avoiding a prime Cotto and/or Pac for an OLD Mosley. If he fought Cotto and/or Pac he's avoiding a very game Mosley.

BUT saying all that, saying Mayweather does in FACT beat all of them. There would be an excuse for EVERY win. Hoya was still in his prime years vs Mayweather. He should have been in his prime years vs Pac but that was clearly not the case or at least NOT at 145/147. Another thing, people want to hate on the man but like you said when he does step into the ring his true personality comes out. He is very professional and once the fights over he praises the loser. mayweather talks his shyt before the fight. People just dont understand bussiness and promotion.
