I totally agree with people on the skills mayweather has shown in his career, but has he ever beat a top pound for pound guy ? castillo, hatton and judah arent exactly great fighters, castillo would be the closest to great and there fights were very close. judah is mental when it comes to boxing intelligence, i mean he was doing well against floyd in the first 6 rounds, i actually had him winning but then he just stops fighting and goes way down hill from there. in my opinion he didnt beat ricky nearly as fast as he should have, he ran and even let hatton win some round.
I aint saying he doesnt have the potential to be in the class on the sugar ray robinson and leonard and ali , but those guys in floyds position would have already beat cotto, mosley , williams, clottey, berto, even collazo. I mean he really hasnt beat a top 10 ww.
i mean baltomir and judah, cmon. I would give floyd all the props in the world if he proved me wrong , but until then he is just skills and nothing more. a guy like pacquiao , fought barrera , marquez, and morales all in like a year and a half span, all top p4p guys. Thats what great fighters do, they dont pick and choose the easiest fights for the biggest money. besides castillo, floyds riskiest fight was judah in my opinion and that came off a loss to baldomir. no disrespect to floyd but he needs to do more with all his skills and even if he beats JM that dont impress me since the guy is 35 with some good wars under his belt coming up nearly 10 pounds in weight ...
Come on man....... Judah won 4/5rds but after Mayweather
just took control, wasn't about Zab breaking down it was
about Mayweather adjusting and whupping on him for the
rest of the fight. The first Castillo fight was close but
Floyd gave him a rematch and beat him more decisively
which showed he could beat him. The Hatton fight Floyd
broke that man down technically and systematically. I
don't understand why some discredit Floyd's opponents
to make him look bad when in actuality Floyd fought
champions and undefeated fighters throughout his career
AND did it for 10 YEARS. Sure we want to see him fight
Cotto and Mosley BUT Floyd was before Cotto PLUS Arum
said Cotto wasn't ready for Floyd AND Mosley turned him
down twice. Clottey, Berto, Williams weren't even in the
picture when Floyd was fighting. I'm not just defending him
but only stating the fact that when it comes to Floyd whatever
he does is never enough and I don't think it is fair but that is
      just my opinion.

Zab won like 2 rounds..maybe 3...and it wasnt cause of him..Mayweather allowed him to expose his 1 dimensional fighting style...

does that guy know that when Mayweather was winning the 147 lbs titles...Cotto was at 140 & Mosley was fighting @ 154?

So because of what some respected trainers Angelo Dundee, Emanuel Steward and Buddy McGirt said is everyone going to bash them because they praised Mayweather??? I mean Steward puts PBF in the class with the Lenard's Ali's....

Wheres the bashing???? I mean it cant be true... They're talking about Mayweather... that can't possibly have truth behind it. No way RESPECTED trainers who know the sport inside and out could EVER say that about Mayweather?

            Side note:
Mayweather vs Cotto and Pac vs JMM III next year.

I think this fight will be more of a tooth and nail battle than what people make it out to be. With that said, Floyd is eventually going to have to fight a battle where there is a little bit of doubt about the outcome among experts if he wants these detractors off his back.

let everyone know how they feel about Floyd BUT you know

I don't understand why some just can't keep it 100
and see that Zab was getting his ass kicked in that
fight to a point where he had to find a desperate
way out. Floyd was dominating Zab BUT the fact
that Zab got off a lil bit makes it seem like Zab
was really kicking Floyd's butt? I realize that
people will see only what they want because they
                    don't like Floyd.

I believe that Corrales was #3 P4P when Floyd demolished him.
