What if A.J. wins the rematch

AJ isn't going to win a rematch.
Usyk isn't going to suddenly get so obese he can do nothing but stand like a stone statue while AJ timidly potshots him.

The better technician virtually always does better in rematches.
Usyk has his number and the style to neutralise him. Its just not a good style matchup for AJ its that simple.

He can try be more aggressive but it won't serve him well, he'll get ktfo.

He'll be the underdog. It's not like the Ruiz rematch where he was just righting a wrong.

If he were to beat Usyk, it would have to be seen as a huge win.

I don't see how he does it, but you can be sure he'll be prepared as best he can.

Usyk isn't Ruiz to come in out of shape and totally disrespect the sport. I'd favor Usyk 60-40 in the rematch, simply based off the fact of his confidence knowing he can beat Joshua already.

Not really , A.J is always a top fighter with still matches we would want . Even Wilder if he lost a second straight fight and say A.J lost again, what real fight fan still doesn’t want to see these two in the same ring ? I think fans are really spoiled , most fighters circle back years later when they lose .

Those who don’t Fury vs A.J are probably those who fear A.J will stop a Fury . I’m betting if A.J looks to good in fights he scares away Wilder and Fury ,so ? You can discredit A.J but he’s still would be the best win for Fury anything else is just an excuse not to fight him which I knew would be coming .

I’d be hugely impressed. It’s horrible for his career if he takes back to back losses to the same guy so the pressure would be immense. Joshua would also have to fight more aggressive which leaves him vulnerable and more open to getting caught. It’s risky. Then you take in to account Usyk now knows that he can take a real heavyweight punch and also that he can at least hurt Joshua. Usyk may even get the fight held outside of the UK unless the rematch clause has something about that in it and I believe Joshua may have anxiety issues that could really flare up if he’s in there with a fighter who already beat him combined with a hostile crowd. It’s possible but he’s got a lot going against him now.

Usyk said he'd like to have the rematch at Olimpiyskiy in Kiev during the post-fight press conference. But the financials will probably take the fight back to the UK or the Middle East/North Africa.

There is one trait which people need to remember about Joshua? He does not fight the same fight twice.

Joshua knows now, that whatever training he did leading up to last nights fight 'Was not good enough or optimal'.

He will at-least prepare differently, play to his strengths and just go all in.

None of this tip-tap boxing match. He just has to go in there and impose his physicality, and bring back the combinations 'If he cannot land up top, go to the body and do some damage' If he fatigues, well he will have to just hang on in there.

I think the Usyk rematch, is less daunting for Joshua than Ruiz Junior 'Ruiz Junior bashed him about the ring like a pin ball'.

I think having the rematch also away from the UK, may actually help Joshua 'Being a genuine underdog, and outside of the UK is all new to him'.

Usyk is not Ruiz. he will not just stand there while being outclassed from the distance.

I think Usyk beats him again, even easier.

AJ has great movement and technique for a heavyweight, maybe no. 3 behind Fury and Usyk. But you don't rely on this if fighting one of Fury or Usyk. He is streets ahead in terms of strength and power of these two and therefore should be using those attributes. And I would say he has a chance in the rematch if he does. But maybe Whyte is right, no dog left.

I'd be surprised. And if he did I dont think it redeems him fully, they'd need a 3rd fight. I still think AJ/Ruiz 3 needs to happen too. I dont like these mando rematches when the "wrong" guy wins at all, but you cant lose a fight, rematch so you can win the 2nd fight, and then **** off. It needs to be best of 3 in that situation.
