Apparently there is a process with the belts. Usyk perhaps procactively, as a gesture of respect, handed over Joshua's belts, because they get changed in the ring. I think after a change, the former champ keeps the old belts, and the new belts age given to the new champ. But there might be a moment after the decision where the new guy parades the old champion's belts.

There are guys here with much better understanding of how belts are transferred and the like... so this is a guess on my part. Someone should know.
