Usyk's chin.

He never had to eat much that Joshua really had the chance to put his weight behind, like the kind of stuff that Pulev got hit with, for instance. Of course, that's less a knock on the strength of Usyk's chin and more of yet another positive indictment of the incredible boxing skills he put on display. The best chin is the one that doesn't get tagged in the first place.Comment

He's fu*cking annoying thats what he is , he should stay still and let my boy tap him in the jaw. I know how Pacquiao fans feel when their emperor said " HE SHOULD STAY STILL" **** USYK is good. i cant see how AJ wins the rematch eitherComment

He did not take many hard shots from Joshua. And when he got hit by Chisora, he did not enjoy one bit of it. Usyk's chin is yet to be tested at HW. Sure he is no glass chin but we can't as yet say whether he has an iron chin or not.Comment

I never said he was in any type of trouble. All I said is that he felt AJ’s power and was able to maneuver around it. Actually, it was Usyk who buckled the knees of Joshua several times. Win lose or draw I would like to see AJ retire. He is just not the same fighter he was before the first Andy Ruiz fight. That fight permanently ruined him.
WTF? Hahaha.
He was ready to go chop down AJ more and more. Every time Usyk was hit with something he responded with a counter and more offence. I’m sure he felt AJ’s power but at no time was he in trouble. The opposite could be said of AJ though. He was buzzed and shaken a few times.Last edited by champion4ever; 09-26-2021, 04:57 AM.Comment

Yeah. That’s very true. I agree. I still feel he would have been better off throwing combination punches as opposed to simply out boxing Usyk with his jab. AJ needed to fight at a much faster pace

That's what it's all about, never letting anything land completely flush and by controlling and corralling the opponents offensive options rarely being in a position where you can't anticipate what's gonna come at you... Like they say it's the ones you don't see coming.
I ain't much of a believer in Chins TBH, not to say there ain't some variability but for me it's much more to do with ring awareness and defensive responsibility.Comment

Sorry, my mistake. I thought you were saying that AJ had Usyk hurt. Yes, I believe Usyk could feel the power of AJ and that’s what kept him boxing strategically and intelligently. He knew there was still danger even though he was in charge throughout most of the fight.I never said he was in any type of trouble. All I said is that he felt AJ’s power and was able to maneuver around it. Actually, it was Usyk who buckled the knees of Joshua several times. Win lose or draw I would like to see AJ retire. I don’t think AJ should retire. Even though he lost I believe he showed some pretty smart adjustments from previous fights. I think he can still compete with the other guys at the very top of the division. He still has time to improve. There aren’t any other heavyweights who have the skill and slick movements of Usyk. AJ can be at the top of the heap again if he plays his cards right and improves a bit. Even if he doesn’t improve he will still be tough to beat.Comment

You don’t stand and have your wits about you after some of those A.J shots . Usyks reaction to any power shot he’s been hit with seldom still negates his next counter move,he didn’t miss a beat against A.J though he was rarely hit solid the entire time, his chin is very proven .Comment

Come on now, Usyk was never ready to go. Legs never stiffened, eyes never rolled back. AJ's signature is a right uppercut and I don't know Usyk even let him throw one all night. Hard to judge how good someone's chin is who is disciplined enough not to stand and ****, and rolls so well with punches he does take.
this, AJ was hurt more and hurt more often than usyk was. at most usyk could feel some of the shots but he wasnt as stunned as AJ wasComment
