Come on now, Usyk was never ready to go. Legs never stiffened, eyes never rolled back. AJ's signature is a right uppercut and I don't know Usyk even let him throw one all night. Hard to judge how good someone's chin is who is disciplined enough not to stand and ****, and rolls so well with punches he does take.
Usyk's chin.

You are absolutely right! I believe that first Andy Ruiz fight must've really ruined AJ. Now he is more reluctant in letting his hands go for fear of either getting clipped because of his weak chin or punching himself out due to his poor stamina. Joshua had plenty of opportunities of putting his foot on the gas pedal in the fight as the naturally stronger and bigger puncher of the two but simply just refused to do so.
Thank Jesus apparently someone else saw what was actually happening in there tonight. I absolutely agree if Joshua let his hands go more he would’ve in the very least knocked Usyk down. He had him backing in most of the fight and did stun him at least 3 times in there and Usyk immediately grabbed him. How that was overlooked is anyone’s guess.Comment

i only remember one right from aj which went past usyk left hand and stunned usky if im being fair, apart from that usyk looked the stronger imo as he was landing combinations after the 7-8 rounds prior to that it was the straight left hand imoComment

No idea why his ability to take HW power was ever in question he took some murderous shots from Briedis and Gassiev who certainly hit as hard as most HWs and didn't flinch.
He fought huge punchers at SHW in WSB also and was never troubled apart from a lowblow vs Majidov.Comment

It was clear for all to see that some of Joshua's punches had a damaging effect on Usyk. However, what Usyk did that was so effective is that he would circle out of harm's way each time he felt AJ's power which was smart. I couldn't have been more proud for the kid. He deserved that victory. Not once did Joshua ever press Alexander in the entire fight.

Absolutely. Let the hype train start rolling next we will be hearing how Usyk would walk through shots from a prime George Foreman and not blinkComment
