Furys top end wins were more eye catching when you take into account how dominant he was in them. But AJ has more depth on his resume, especially considering all of his big wins have happened after Fury "retired" the first time.

Two problems with Fury's statement: Fury has only fought Wilder, who can be considered a fighter in his prime. Other than that his only major scalp is Klitschko, with who A.J had a FOTY with.
What is Joseph Parker? He was unbeaten, had outboxed the enigmatic Andy Ruiz Jr, whom A.J lost to, and then avenged said loss.

He's beaten Whyte, Povetkin, Martin, and Takam, who I would argue were either in their prime or close to it. Parker, Whyte, and Takam without a doubt.

Fury has rewritten history on that Klitschko fight.

It was the equivalent of two sprinters completing the 100 metres in 30 and 31 seconds respectively.

It wasn't dominant. Fury landed about 6 punches a round on a night that Wlad was dreadful. That's a long way from dominant. The fact he dodged his contractually obligated rematch doesn't make it any more dominant either.
