You know what he did. Dropped it right before Haney won the eliminator. Why are you guys trying to use little semantics to absolve a guy you like from doing something you don’t approve?

FYI you’re late on this defense. Daggum tried to use it already. Where he argued Loma dropping the belt 2 days before Haney won somehow validated the move.

He cowardly dropped the belt. Lied about not knowing about the franchise title. Then got caught by fat Dan.

You stop the BS semantics. Hold him accountable. If it was the other way around you’d hold haney accountable.
You said that Loma had a mandatory defense with Haney. It's a fact that he didn't. You tell me where he had a mandatory defense? It was a voluntary defense, and Haney had to petition to fight Loma in order to start a voluntary defense. Haney would be the challenger. He never challenged Loma. That's a fact.

You can't say someone is ducking anyone when there was never a mandatory defense. You know this, don't you? Or is the the first time you are realizing this?

I just explained that. If you want to go with semantics do so.

Imo it’s even worse that he dropped it a couple days before Haney won the eliminator. He did that just so his fans like you can make this argument and absolve him on a technicality.

It was cowardly. You know it and I know it. The only thing is will you hold Loma accountable?

You are wrong. Let me disabuse you of this ridiculousness. Even when he had the interim title. Here are the rules:
3.22 Interim Championship Rule. In special circumstances, including when the WBC in its sole discretion declares a WBC champion temporarily unavailable to defend his title, the WBC may sanction a bout between Qualified Challengers for an interim championship, or otherwise recognize an interim champion in the division.

18 In its sole discretion, the WBC shall subsequently determine the timing and terms of any bout between a Champion and Interim Champion to determine a sole champion in the division, provided, however, that an Interim Champion shall never be deemed a mandatory challenger, or entitled to greater share of proceeds of any purse offer beyond that of a challenger, without a specific prior written order to that effect from the WBC President or his designee.

For the avoidance of doubt, a WBC Interim World Championship shall be considered a true WBC World title for all purposes, other than with respect to a bout versus the actual World Champion, absent any order to the contrary from the WBC in its sole discretion. See rules.

He "shall NEVER be deemed a mandatory challenger." So even before he was elevated to franchise champion, he was never a mandatory challenger. It was a voluntary challenge for which Haney had to challenge. That's what it was. So your argument is based on misinformation, lies and is therefore absurd. It's ludicrous. It's based on fiction.

So just stop already. It's getting old.

Here is Dan Rafael confirming haney was the mando.

you’re wrong. Enough garbage. Hold Loma accountable for a move you know is suspect and cowardly.

Dan Rafael is not the rules. Dan Rafael has been wrong hundreds of times. He was wrong about the date switching to the 16th of October for Lopez and Kambosos. You can choose to believe Dan. I think I'll stick to the rules of the WBC. The rules trump anything out of Rafael's mouth.

Jesus Christ! Please You're done. Be quiet now.

Heres the bbc saying same. They wrong too?

Dude you’re wrong. You formed an opinion based on the rules. Cool. The news posted the facts.

maybe you’re not clear on all the facts. these media sites perhaps have more information than you do.

You’re giving loma way too much benefit of the doubt for a move you shouldn’t justify or respect.

With the win, Haney improved to 23-0, with 15 KOs, and becomes the mandatory challenger to unified world lightweight champ Vasiliy Lomachenko's WB

Oh man my bad. He won one round in the second half. Laughable you find that a good defense. Which is how many rounds Loma won in the first half. And everyone says Lopez dominated him in the first half, when really Loma just lost the first half by not engaging. Lopez’ win was far from dominate and it’s a shame we don’t get it ran back. As I said I have no idea who wins a rematch but the fact you’re defending a guy for not making a fight most people wanna see is sad.

You can 100% duck someone you’ve beat and suggesting otherwise is just silly. Especially since his win was far from dominate. Defending a guy for not making a good fight is silly. And I’m not ignoring him getting buzzed. Big deal. It’s boxing. He still got whipped for the vast majority of the second half.
