As much as I'm NOT a fan of Canelos....I think he actually legitimises the sport of boxing. He refuses to give Jake Paul the payday because he says that's not boxing even though he knows its 50 Mil for about 6 mins work. He could have followed Floyd's lead since the McGregor fight but he didn't. He has money He doesn't need to sell his respect or as some people like to call it..."legacy".

I agree with you. Canelo wouldn't entertain a farce fight like that at this stage of his career. Hopefully he never does, even when he's retired.

How are you missing the fact that Floyd is retired. He’s been retired 4 years. He’s following in the footsteps of the great Ali, Frazier and even Joe Louise. Those are facts.
Floyd was fighting boxers at 31 too. That’s a fact too.

That was so sad. I don't even know what to say. Holyfield is my all time fav, wish he'd managed his money better. Hope he made good money on this and can live off of it long term. Good stoppage by the ref we didn't need to see any more. Too bad he didn't get the big payday with the exhibition versus Tyson.
