Victor Belfort should be ashamed of himself for celebrating the knockout of a faded legend in Evander Holyfield. He and everyone knows that he beat an old man who should not be fighting in the first place. Evander should be a trainer for an up and coming fighter. That way he can still get in the ring to train a potential pupil. This proves to me that Evander unfortunately looked at boxing as a means to an end. He unfortunately had no other means. His potential fight and payday with Tyson is down the drain now.

This is absolutely ridiculous. We fans are starved of many 50-50 fights due to promotional cold wars, greed, and politics, yet a geriatric Holyfield gets knocked around the ring not long after he steps into it for these 'Legend League' fights.
More effort needs to be diverted into reducing the number of belts and enforcing higher standards in pro boxing - not more derivative rubbish like Youtube fighters and over the hill bouts.
This simply tarnishes Holyfields incredible legacy and does nothing to advance the sport.Comment

As much as I'm NOT a fan of Canelos....I think he actually legitimises the sport of boxing. He refuses to give Jake Paul the payday because he says that's not boxing even though he knows its 50 Mil for about 6 mins work. He could have followed Floyd's lead since the McGregor fight but he didn't. He has money He doesn't need to sell his respect or as some people like to call it..."legacy".Comment
