There are layers and layers of obstacles before any fight even gets to the first step. The fighter's old man may not even approve of the fight, for example. Even the fighter's own trainer get to have a say whether to say yes or no to the fight. Not to mention the manager, advisor, networks' execs, you name it. It's naive to assume these people behind all these fights are influenced by what fans say. They don't give a hoot.
Well again the OP argument wasn’t what fans say about major fights it’s about in general . No one argued your posts .

Progression is key. Every fight should be a slight step up. If a fighter stalls and continually fights the same level blowing them out, it's pointless and he should rightfully be called out for it.

So the public pressure was not actually there it was more finger pointing which was the team Wilder agenda there .

Fights that don’t happen have mostly been because of the PBC , you listed two fighters from there which isn’t a coincidence. I dont think there’s really many mega fights that would put attention to the fans to demand a fight ,there was a few but not many . As long as you have one side of crazy fans that don’t go after their fighter they like to take a certain fight ,it only gives that side more ammunition not to to take that fight .
Thanks for getting it. I speak multiple languages. English is not my native language. But I know I have written this thread and its contents in plain English. I assume English is that guy’s and some other dudes only language here. It’s sad to see how dumb they are at their only language. He just won’t comprehend my argument, even if I dumb it down to what I think they will understand. It’s like if I am attempting to discuss this with flies. I say one thing, and they come back and start arguing about something almost completely different.

The US’s Pre-K through 12th grade education is listed as among the worst of all developed countries. Consistently, by not only foreign publications, but also US publications itself. And it shows here in this thread how bad it is.

So thank you for getting my argument. Seriously, I appreciate your understanding.

I think you just coined a new term by accident. "BStart your career". Cuz fighting cans is a BS way to start a career, and an even worse way to continue it.

#2 P4P Roman Gonzalez fought Valentin Leon, who was 29-29-3. Nobody cared. Writers kept praising him. His fans shrugged it off.

Meanwhile 23-year-old Ryan Garcia needs to fight Anthony Joshua next to prove himself and show fans the Luke Campbell knockout was not a fluke.

use to be a time when Prospects fought on Prelims off TV and you really wouldn't start seeing them on TV until a few years later into their careers

Now guys are making Pro Debuts on Networks...Marc Castro Pro Debut end up being a Co Feature to Canelo vs Callum Smith fight...talk about Pressure!

In a dangerous sport like this, No young fighter should be rushed, Gabe Flores Jr. most recently is a remind of that. Kid is 21 years young, ZERO reason to rush him...not to question Bruce Tramper and Bob Arum, they're the absolute best at developing and building up young talent in this great sport BUT that proved to be just too big of a leap for young Gabe and I hope it is not something that effects and he never recovers because that would be sad.

Keep these kids off TV, go back to burying them on Prelims and let them EARN a spot on TV

I would like to see you and the poster you are quoting start a career vs 20 tomato cans to see what your records look like. You two would probably end up retiring with brain damage after your 20th can. And would likely have a crap record. The fans who talk the most sh.t about young underdeveloped fighters needing to step up quickly are probably the most uncoordinated, unathletic fans out there. It’s always those who know nothing about sports in practice who ask the most out of athletes.

Fighting cans is a BS way to start a career?

What do you know about starting any sports career? How many fighters have you trained?

The pros are night and day to the amateurs. In the ams we were there to keep the young boxers as safe as possible.

Essentially, it comes down to damage in the pros and how much money you could make.

True dat doe, 20 'cans' can leave you damaged.............Rockin'

We know you don't know about anyhting financial related in boxing. 14 years on the site and you're still a pink fmaggot.
