Tank has proven to be a star among fans in his ethnic group and provides sold out arenas in cities with heavy African-American presence. Atlanta is a hotbed of AA a-listers, millionaires, athletes, celebs etc due to having black universities. If tank fights anyone in Atlanta, he sells out the arena. Throw in rollie’s trash talking and bad boy persona for the buildup and you have the makings of a good ppv

      Tank or email?
Forget the belts, Who's going to pay the most & have the most eye's watching?
Or do you pick who is the more beatable?
I think each answer is clear.
      This man here gets it

I like this fight...Rolly has some Mayorga to him and he can potentially bother Haney and just bother him with his physicality.

Haney is the obvious favorite but this is a solid fight.

I didn't know that. WBC can still mandate a champion v interim champion fight? That's the point of "interim" isn't it.
Whoever doesn't move forward, strip them.
If Diaz prefers to fight Garcia, that's his decision but strip him of interim
          Same with wba and davis-romero.
All the fkn around with titles needs resolved asap.

With Rolly ranked #1 by the wba at 135 and Tank having a “title” at 135, I think the only title fight Rolly will get is against Tank.

He gets to play the heel and Tank gets to be the “face”, especially if they do this at the MGM in Oxon Hill. MD.

Haney would make Rolly look like one of those celebrity boxers that Lamar Odom beats up.

I like how carefully chosen the opening statement of the article is. Doesn't say Hearn, Haney's promoter, but says Hearn who "works with" Haney. That language isn't accidental. According to what I know Hearn isn't Haney's promoter and Haney isn't exclusive to any network either. Hearn is talking out of his ass and likes to keep himself in the spotlight. Did they find Rolly yet?

If Haney-Rolly is to happen, Hearn won't be a part of it. Haney and his dad were talking to Mayweather Promotions on their own.

I cant believe you are saying it also but i agree with the rest of your post

In my honest opinion, neither guy does much for the sport but they want the sport (fans) to embrace their horrible trash talk with no chance of a fight ever happening!?

Hard to watch, but hey, what can we really do?
Haney doesnt really trash talk what are you talking about? If trash talk means asking every man and his dog for a fight then he does a lot of that.

"Haney doesn't really trash talk.." Man, chill out! That's not the point.

Are you Haney fan by any chance? Must be.

The guy is boring, entitled and hasn't proven a thing. All he does is show off gaudy possessions and posts subliminal messages about him being the best and so on. Social media posts are also an extension of trash talking, you know that, right?

Haney's bombastic rhetoric and entitlement points to a career that just isn't there. He's done nothing but walking around as though we should "check his resume" for clout. Sorry, buddy...nothing there. He and a lot of fighters are doing this same bogus bullcrap but you're too much of a fanboy to see it.

These guys dress and act like rappers and thugs but get in there and struggle against B-C level guys. We're not dumb...Devin's doing what everybody else is doing....he just happens to have more than the average up and coming fighter.

He doesn't wanna fight a threat at all, and that's cool....just don't act like you've fought your share of gatekeepers and you're now "big boy" status. You're not. Struggling against a shot Gamboa and getting clipped by Linares doesn't say much at this point.
