That’s true, and a great way to get boxers on his side. To be Honest he doesn’t really need the money and after he stopped Woodley a lot of boxers would now be saying great things about him, it’s a well done PR move. That boy is smart..

UFC continues to kill boxing on PPV with actual legitimate fights between current MMA fighters while boxing drags its credibility through the mud using Youtubers, retired 50 year olds and literal MMA fighters for a little bit of fleeting attention.

he did good numbers with clottey,

floyds numbers with andre berto were so poor, also the fight didnt sell out and the weigh in was empty and it was billed as his retirement fight, usually when you are undefeated and just beat your biggest rival in a massive ppv if you are a draw people will tune in, not many did it was rumored to do like 400k and he just beat pacquiao.

since then floyd had to fight popular guys in spectacles to draw like conor mcgregor and logan paul.

On the bright side, not that many people saw Pac get his ass whipped by Ugas.

these sideshow fights will outdo traditional boxing ppvs

Oscar's fight is doing terrible ticket sales. There's a bunch of third row seats still available. Unless the PPV numbers are huge Triller is going to take a big loss on that card.

While I won't get the PPV (schedule conflict), I hope it does very good numbers and I do think Paul is good for the sport. I hope he continues to win (and I expect him to beat Woodley).

It seemed he and his brother initially got into the sport as a publicity stunt and to settle social media beefs (real or manufactured). At some point there was an appreciation and respect developed and they took things seriously as they showed some natural ability.

They have given back to the sport more than others and if they can provide exposure and increased revenue for other fighters on their cards, it's a very good thing. It's how you develop the sport, regardless of what you think of the brothers.

Nobody is looking forward to the "boxing" of the main event. It's a circus. Everyone is looking forward to the undercard, minus the Fury kid.

The Great White Hope trope is just BS blackskins tell each other to convince themselves of their oppression. This isn't 1910 anymore. No one cares if you're a white boxer. In 2021, being Mexican helps you sell PPVs.
There wasn’t nothing to sell. Pavlik was white but he kinda came out of no where to win the title. He wasn’t really built up prior to that. And it’s not like Taylor was some house hold name.

Yikes, and triller is paying all those fighters no less than a million or two. I heard anderson silva is getting $2.5 million as well as tito ortiz. Vitor belfort said he will be making more money in the de la hoya fight than he made total in his entire fighting career. Triller seems to giving out money like candy.
