And three losses in his last five fights? Yep, to guys like Ugas, James and Stanionis while drawing with Jessie Vargas. Maybe all he needed was a few fights against the likes of Zewski's of the world to look good............
That's your opinion and you're entitled to it.

At least Kavaliuskas is a legit welterweight and not a blown up 140 pounder like Lipinets.

At the end of the day what does Boots prove by beating Dulorme? That he can do something Jamal James already did?

    It's a disappointment.

I didn't say I liked this fight for Ennis...In fact, I said unless he signs with one of the top promoters/advisors, he's still getting the big names/fights until he gets the mandatory spot.

So then Hooker was not a legit welterweight by that definition, correct? You mentioned him as one of the big wins for Ortiz....For the last time, all these guys are on the same level. If Dulorme fought Mean Machine, the fight would be competitive and a one or two point win by either fighter...If Lipinets fought Hooker, that would be a competitive fight.

You aren't going to see what you want from Ennis with no big backing. It sucks, but that's just reality.

I fail to fathom how Dulorme is in anyway a threat to Boots, this is a cherry pick by the Ennis team no two ways about it. Glad at least one young buck in Vergil Ortiz is fighting legit Top 10 welterweight contenders like Mean Machine, maybe that could rub off on Ennis too.
I was hoping for Jamal James for Boots next myself. I think he is more than ready.

My biggest and only real question about Boots is his teams lack of belief in him.

Not only is this another cr4p opponent but another guy who couldn't knock the skin off a rice pudding. I think his head movement needs a little work for sure but Is he packing glass or something?

Dulorme is the guy that is there to be beaten by contenders. Boots must beat him clearly.

Another four lop-sided rounds max and what do we or Boots learn? **** all.

Let him off the chains already ffs.

The fight might be looked as a step back for Ennis but if he KO’s Dulorme in less than 3 rounds it would be a pretty good notch to have since Dulorme is pretty durable and fades late in fights.

I honestly think Ennis is a beast and can beat some of the top welterweights already. I hope Haymon is not going to do the Spence plan for Ennis which yeah makes you $$$ but your career will stall.
