Anyone else disappointed w/t Boots vs Dulorme?

Do Cameron Dunkin or Stephen Espinoza even believe in Boots? Seriously, Boots vs Dulorme is a step backwards in Ennis development. Why not Custio Clayton or Josesito Lopez next both are much better opponents than a guy coming off two straight loses. I fail to fathom how Dulorme is in anyway a threat to Boots, this is a cherry pick by the Ennis team no two ways about it. Glad at least one young buck in Vergil Ortiz is fighting legit Top 10 welterweight contenders like Mean Machine, maybe that could rub off on Ennis too.

Haymon is protecting Ennis for future matchmaking. The ideal choice is Haymon making Ennis vs Ramos. But Ramos comes to fight…and it was the guy who went 12 with Ugas. Or if Boots fans really want to see risks then he should fight Stanionis. Such a position and win against the Lithuanian would give Boots an opportunity against James for a mando spot, title eliminator outing under the WBA.

seems Haymon is saving time to allow the pandemic to ease out, making future Boots fights bigger

Boots is promoted by Cameron Dunkin and managed by his father Bozy from what I know, don’t think Uncle Al is involved w/t Ennis yet. Anyhow, truth of the matter is Boots needs to start stepping up his competition already, Stanionis would be a perfect test for Ennis @ this stage in his career just wish his team would stop feeding him cherry’s.

Dulermo is a proven loser. He will give you some rounds but caves in some where down the line. Is time for Boots to fight a durable guy or a young buck with upside. The problem is that they have no pull and they are going to have a hard time securing fights. He has to secure his #1 spot for any of the titles.

Don’t see what the big deal is with this fight.

Lopez is not a step up. Yes he’s coming off 2 wins but He’s fought twice in 2 years, both bums.

Dulrome’s losses are to Jamal James and Stanionis, both really good.

Clayton would be ok because is undefeated but his last fight, Lipinets, who Boots ko’d in 6, was a questionable MD, with Clayton winning like the last 3 or 4 rounds just to get the draw.

I expect him to beat Dulrome. After this he should look to fight Mikey Garcia, Danny Garcia, veterans that could increase his profile or Stanionis or Jamal James.

Nah I actually like this fight. Ennis is still a little raw he needs these type of fights IMO to work on his craft. I think ultimately Boots just needs to slow down a touch and pick his punches instead of smothering his work at times. Very talented fighter though, he has a massive future IMO.

Maybe those other guys don't want to fight Boots.

                    I'm disappointed.

Vergil Ortiz has been put in with much tougher guys already in Hooker and Kavaliuskas.

To my eyes Boots looks to be even better than Vergil so it sucks to see him facing inferior competition.
