I don't really know where Martin is at these days, he's always had at least some talent but mentally the guy is not all there.

Whyte has his limitations, but I don't write him off for the bad moment he had vs Povetkin, it's heavyweight boxing, Whyte fights hard fights a lot and at some point you are gonna get caught, unless you are rocky Marciano.

Wouldn't mind seeing the fight, both can talk.

Yeah from a publicity/credit aspect its not really worth it for Whyte as if he beats Martin, Martin just goes back to being some bum and "why did Whyte even fight him"

At this point Whyte needs to take only payday fights or a title shot, Whyte is never going to be fairly judged as an active fighter, that will only happen after he retires.

Whyte said Babic is to small and not ready for anyone in the top 20 right now . I believe him he’s been rattled and struggled with guys far lower then a Charles Martin who’s still being remembered by his AJ loss which is a mistake ,Babic is not AJ .

The 6”5 Martin catches Babic and picks him apart by mid rounds when Babic gets sloppy imop .

the implication was that babic can get much better than he is, not that he 'isnt good enough'.
That fight vs mark bennet was completely one sided. at no point was babic hurt. the opponent was just getting through each round and then quit in the corner.

You'd obv be foolish to think babic doesnt have power. Granted he has only fought journeymen so far but the manner of beatings he's given them were brutal. Shawndell winters went 5 rounds with parker and was out in 2 by babic. i know triangle theories don't always work, but we do use them for comparison, eg babic did far better than parker. The issue here is mainly that babic has a reputation already and he's also sparred with joyce..

Martin hits harder then Babic . Babic was stunned against Bennett briefly and only knows one gear and mode that’s forward in a very sloppy looking Frazier way ,it’s going to get him stopped sooner then later he has no finesse . Whyte said he’s not ready fir Takam who’s probably the shortest guy out there in top 20 . Babic can lift weights and put on 20 pounds as Whyte suggests but that doesn’t change much if he steps up he will just slow down and be more hittable so one thing has to give and it’ll be his defense which isn’t that great now .

Joyce was playing with Babic in sparring while Babic was going full throttle if they actually fought Joyce would have pummeled him . Parker struggles with everyone but that doesn’t mean Babic is goin* to beat Parker who probably has a top chin in the division which cancels out Babic winning because he’s going to need a quicker stoppage there ,he is good for a few rounds but will always fade after because of his size and style .


Im also guessing Hrgovic took it easy on him in sparring and now Babic has conjured up the idea he is world beater which is why Whyte had to put the breaks on him and actually tell him where the level he’s at now ,I’d say even Allen is a dangerous fight for him but that’s his level and he may not even win that one ? The point is he’s never goin* to beat most top 10 guys he’s just not ,his move should be to Bridgerweight it’s more suited for him if he can get a title fight .
