Any time Manny loses his fans would like to see a rematch.
Ugas was a late replacement and the excuse is that Manny hadn’t trained for that style. On top of the nonsense cramps claim

That Ugas was a late replacement and that Manny was preparing for a southpaw is not in any dispute; that's the way it was -- less than ideal circumstances.

The legs thing didn't come across as an excuse to me. An excuse would be, if I didn't have leg cramps, I'd have won and I don't think Manny tried to say that at any point. It was more like, my legs felt like shlt from early on in the fight... and the tacit understanding is that this was because he is too old. The legs just weren't there to do what they needed to. I don't see any need for a rematch. Trying to win against a top 10 fighter at 42 was a bridge too far. In hindsight, the victory over Thurman is one of the high watermarks of Manny's career, because he really should have been too old then as well.

What was weird with this fight is how the late switch messed with expectations. Against Spence, the general expectation was that Manny really had no chance because he was too old to take on someone at the top. When Spence switched out, there was the whole conspiracy theory angle and I think a lot of people leapt to an illogical expectation that now Manny had a decent chance. At the end of the day he was a 42-year-old man trying to win in a division that is unforgiving at that age.

Pacquiao has done it all. I do not believe Manny will return to the ring. He really doesn't have anywhere to go. And by anywhere I mean, I do not see many meaningful options out there for him. I can only see him in a rematch against Ugas, to prove that he wasn't himself in fight 1 and that he didn't have enough time to prepare for Ugas. I do not believe that Crawford will be readily available as it seems as though he'll face Porter soon. I do not believe that it makes sense for Pacquiao to wait for the winner of Crawford VS Porter......or to wait for Spence - assuming he were to go ahead in a rematch against Ugas and win. I do not believe that it makes sense to fight Danny Garcia or Mikey Garcia. While they will be interesting matchups, Pacquiao's only motivations for taking these fights would be for the love of the sport, a huge paycheck, or to earn another victory. I do not believe Freddie Roach will be motivated to train Pacquiao for those types of fights. He seems to be openly suggesting that Manny retires. Pacquiao is a bonafide Hall of Famer that doesn't have anything else to prove......

2 things u can tell pac wants to go out on win 2 he needs $ for he gives alot and if really running for president needs campaign funds anything would help as well public awareness during fight. 3 opps only should fight robert guerrero hes looking retire soon n payday, amir khan brook (as soon as they hit they losing brook needs retire health reasons) . dont fight mikey garcia because the legs come from age similar ryan garcia using his quickness n range vs pac with no legs nah give me pac vs khan or brook in middle east payday tax break and campaign awareness donation. Khan ****** use it as ****** pr relations your country as well and end on win ko for khan cnt take a hit but unlike brook its not health reason.

If he does it should be a rematch. Ugas is very difficult and manny has been known to be totally different in rematches. Either way, win or lose, that should be his last fight

Please! It's safe to say at 43 years of age and after a 26 year boxing career; Pac cannot cut anymore weight and still be healthy. He would be too dehydrated and weak. He would look like a skeleton.

We have probably seen the last of Pacquiao, or possibly one more fight, a rematch or if Mayweather says he'll do a rematch, but unlikely.

"Two years of inactivity weighs a lot on any boxer, anyone who is out for two years is going to have effects..."

                      Keith Thurman, take notes!
