May fought canelo before canelo fought big name level opps truthfully handnt even fought mosley level yet so huge jump up or down pending whos side argue. Truthfully you can stick and move like lara n make it ? Fight mostly a tie. But only clear way prime vs prime to beat canelo is ggg method chin press n power n iq. I dont see clear loss for canelo for cpl years unless fighting beterbiev by nxt yr or andre ward comes back n gets warm up even ward i see 50/50 fight for canelo beterbiev clear favorite a bigger ggg n we saw canelo lose ggg first fight and 2nd fight a hell of a fight 116-114 no argue either 115-115 my book 2nd fight beterbiev i feel if not win by ko gone get a 117-113 win but called tie like ggg then aged out for rematch ect

Plant could fight the perfect fight, frustrate Canelo for 12 rounds but he'd still get robbed on the cards.

The promoter is the guy who pays the judges and the judges know they aren't getting anymore work from the promoter if they don't judge the way the promoter likes. Until this situation changes and judges are selected and paid by the commission the cash cow is going to continue getting favourable decisions. That's just the way it is.

As a fan of the sport of boxing, but not the business of boxing, one needs to learn to judge a fight without prejudice and trust ones own judgement because it's likely to be more objective than the officials selected for the job.

The more attached you are to a particular fighter, the harder it is to view the fight objectively when your favourite is getting beat. Fanboi's egos tend to be index linked to their heroes.

Let me guess, he would be on the move for 12 rounds? And that would be more of a victory for him. He isn't going to stay in the pocket (That would be brave or ******), he isn't going to walk Canelo down and throw power shots, he would be constantly moving, turning Canelo etc At the end of the night he would pick up his pay cheque and bounce with his L.

All true. Am sure Plant would be glad that this fight is organised by his own promoter, on his promoter's network. So if he wins and they give it to the other guy then he really needs to know that his promoter is corrupt and look to bounce.

You do know that the promotion is going through PBC right? Like, Al Haymon… Caleb plants manager/promoter/adviser or whatever the phuck title he has… basically your argument would mean that Caleb would be the one to get the favorable scoring. But you contradict yourself
