For instance, had Plant or even GGG said that they would never lose to a black athlete, as in to group them and their entire race's abilities as being one in the same, they would be labelled a racist and most likely cancelled forever.

I think you get my point and thanks for owning that
You're right. In addition, you are more than welcome chief and well said!

he is far too slow, and far too predictable.... he is the boxing-dictionary definition of... straight up-and down, no special effects

Benavidez is the guy with the necessary variety in his skill-set to give Canelo problems

young... tough... skilled... good puncher... experienced... good team, capable of coming up with a good gameplan... nobody else has that mix

and I see Bivol becoming gun-shy, and getting hunted down... just like what will happen to Plant...

Most of the rematch between GGG and Canelo actually happened closer to the center of the ring than most people say. Canelo stood his ground but so did GGG.

And GGG can sure take a punch.

that is not really how I remember it, I saw it like this...

"Alvarez bit down from the start, taking the fight to a Golovkin who spent large chunk of the fight working off the jab and backing up for room to counter. Then they shifted, Gennady Golovkin coming on late with the sort of attacking style that made him a fan favorite over the years."

In the end, Adelaide Byrd and CJ Ross may have done more damage to middleweight king Saul Alvarez than any opponent. Saturday night was a razor thin fight with swing rounds in healthy supply. Alvarez bit down from the start, taking the fight to a Golovkin who spent large chunk of the fight working off the jab and backing up for room to counter. Then they shifted, Gennady Golovkin coming on late with the sort of attacking style that made him a fan favorite over the years.
